I feel bad for the three “journalists” who lost their lives in the Hezbollah war against Israel. The dad of two of them speaks in the video below and almost brings me to tears. Nothing is worse than losing a child. But listen to his message. He didn’t think of them as neutral or objective journalists reporting on events. He thought of them as falling for the right cause that requires a lot of blood sacrifice. The father clearly sees himself and his children as Hezbollah rank and file, with his children fighting but in a different capacity than armed fighters. This is bad and must stop. This “popular war” rubbish must come to an end, or else misery in Lebanon will never be over.
