I think its time for someone to truly create a alternative wrestling promotion. Aew has failed and at this point is bad for the wrestling business. Don't try tell me they good for wrestling because they push Wwe. Eric Bischoff push Wwe, all Tony Khan has done is be irritating.

Aew fans are the worst fan base ever. You'll sit around and watch aew take from Njpw, stardom, and cmll, and they get nothing in return. Not one wrestler in another promotion has won a aew belt, and not many have won a match in aew.

Best wrestler in the world comes back from neck surgery seeking revenge on the man that broke it in the first place. After losing, he will ally himself with that very man and be trained to become a better wrestler? Huh? He'll have his neck put together not by expensive surgeons, but with bullshit with a towel and some neck bridges. Huh? All of this will see him become a more aggressive wrestler, you know, like the one he first showed up as in AEW as but you're not supposed to remember that. His neck will stop hurting, he will start winning matches with submissions, and in a few months, he will be expected to be the face of AEW after being in a story that's been more about Mox than it has been about him.

The worst BoSJ final I've ever seen by some distance. YOH copying moves from superior wrestlers with some perfunctory wrestling in between. Obviously not a match for fans like me - the fans in the building lapped it up. Can't deny it was over. But I hated it.

Saying someone is the third to sixth most influential wrestler of all-time is "downplaying" is the most psycho opinion possible. It's a huge compliement if you actually thought about the entire history of the business. Baba was a very big star in the US in the 60s. Rikidozan was not as big, but aside from Thesz in Hawaii and Nomellini, had no high profile losses either. And in long story form the Thesz loss led to the best drawing series in all of wrestling of that decade and Leo loss led to the birth of the World League.
