@Itsfoss My brother was an early adopter, listened to over a decade of him moaning about the amount of maintenance these things need. And all he makes is life-sized E.T to scare his kids & other nonsense lol

Is a 3d Printer worth the time, effort and money in 2026? This is one thing that I haven't tried yet. I never felt the need of it. Although the idea always seemed attractive to add it to my collection of SBCs, NAS and other embedded hardware. If you have a 3D printer, what do you use it for?

Sheila Wray Gregoire has become one of the most influential voices in the Christian conversation surrounding sex, marriage, and evangelical culture. But do her conclusions actually stand up to biblical and logical scrutiny? My latest with @The_real_annek

Theology is downstream from hermeneutics. Poor hermeneutics leads to poor theology. So much time is spent debating things like eschatology instead of what is behind those positions, and people talk past each other because they are using different methods and word meanings.

@sheffiela01 @KaeleyT @alisa_childers @The_real_annek Some women insist that the comic is not pro-trans (despite the blatantly pro-LGBT comic creator, trans flag, and "Jesus" using affirming pronouns).😐 One of her followers recently attacked my character on FB simply because I posted the comic and pointed out it was pro-trans.

@KaeleyT @alisa_childers @The_real_annek She absolutely is. She has re-posted pro-trans memes. I've tried to show people the receipts, but they just start defending her in some other way, so I don't bother anymore.

My brothers and sisters, some from Chloe’s household have informed me that there are quarrels among you. What I mean is this: One of you says, “I follow Paul”; another, “I follow Apollos”; another, “I follow Cephas”; still another, “I follow Christ.” Is Christ divided? Was Paul crucified for you? Were you baptized in the name of Paul? I thank God that I did not baptize any of you except Crispus and Gaius, so no one can say that you were baptized in my name. (Yes, I also baptized the household of Stephanas; beyond that, I don’t remember if I baptized anyone else.) For Christ did not send me to baptize, but to preach the gospel—not with wisdom and eloquence, lest the cross of Christ be emptied of its power. ~1 Corinthians 1:11-17

We are constantly being gaslit about beauty. A few years ago, we were told that obesity and men in dresses are beautiful, and now we are supposed to agree that elderly women with severe anorexia are beautiful. Just stop.

@Showmyphotos How many times did we refuse to be an adult because we were afraid of what childish people would say? How are we to expect politicians to embody actions we cant even execute ourselves?

There's a point many men reach in dating where they realize they can only seem to attract abusive land monsters as mates. And thus, the recommended action is to take a break, hit the gym, quit drinking and otherwise become less personally dysfunctional. This is kind of my view of Canadian politics right now. It's probably not improving without attacking the core of what made our society so dysfunctional in the first place.

This is what I call "The Death of the Reader". Authors write for readers, who aren't authors. Artists paint for non-artists. Musicians play for non-musicians. This keeps fiction, art, and music grounded. But when any group stops creating for an external audience, and starts trying to impress only each other, they create a weird, self-reinforcing feedback loop. This isn't clothing, or even fashion. It's a costume party. They're all trying one-up each other with something weirder and more eye-catching. So when an athlete, of recent and topical celebrity, who isn't a part of their Bored Billionaires' Club, shows up in a dress that's just a dress, of course they are going to mock her. She's just revealed that she didn't get the memo. That she's not an insider. How she looks to the world at large is not the point. This is why 99.999...% of copies of "Infinite Jest" have never been read. This is why John Cage "wrote" four minutes of silence. This is why competitive bodybuilders from the 80s looked like Greek gods, and modern ones look like gargoyle freaks. It's all the Death of the Reader. Hollywood doesn't make movies for you now. They hate you. They make movies for each other. And then cry about how you didn't buy a ticket, because they think your only role is to pay for their onanistic circle of self indulgence. This game isn't going to stop. It's just going to keep getting weirder until someone's dress malfunctions and catches fire, and the rest of us all have a good laugh.

BREAKING NEWS!! It has been announced that we have 26,112 signatures for Alberta referendum that have been counted for the areas of Innisfail, Sylvan Lake, Rocky Mountain House, Rimbey and Sundre. Let’s break this down shall we? 😁👌 Around 40,000 populations altogether between those five areas (give or take). Using the most recent Alberta dashboard figures for 2025. And out of 40,000 about 28,000 are eligible voters across those five towns according to Grok. Broken down: Sylvan Lake has around 12,400, Innisfail about 6,400, and the other three together roughly 9,000. That’s from the most recent municipal election numbers That’s roughly 26,112 out of a voting population of roughly 28,000.. That’s about 92.9% eligible voters signed the petition on those five towns alone which is an extremely high number for any referendum. This further verifies that we are NOT the “fringe” we are in fact the super majority, I understand these are rough estimates, give or take 10% but now that we know how much support was gathered in a few small rural towns, I cannot wait to see how many were gathered for the rest of Alberta!! Exciting times ahead. ALBERTA STRONG AND FREE!! 👍

@drjonwelton What about during the exile in Babylon, when there was no Temple and no sacrifice, was that still Judaism? What about when Jesus went to synagogues and discussed with the rabbis? Or Paul when he went on his missionary journeys and talked in the synagogues? Were those not Judaism?
