the problem is too that these ai model training companies know artists are looking for work, so they put “illustrator” and “designer” in the job title knowing they’ll get thousands of clicks. they’re engagement baiting us while trying to destroy our field

@squiggle888 @HazelAppleyard whenever i read something like this... i will immediately assume he's trained her not to complain... maybe leaving her outside in the cold desperate to pee for 25 minutes is a part of the training... if he were a sadist, that's what he did, it's not something casually done...

The bit I never understand about these stories is “and then I used my Jedi mind powers to let him know I was really upset!” Why don’t they say. “I’m really upset and appalled that you would lock the pregnant wife and mother of your children out in the snow for 25 minutes. What on earth were you thinking?”

🚨BREAKING: Stanford researchers just read 391,562 real ChatGPT messages. They found the chatbot encouraged violent thinking in one out of every three cases where users expressed violent thoughts. This was not a simulation. These were real conversations from real people who reported psychological harm from using ChatGPT. Researchers from Stanford, Harvard, and Carnegie Mellon collected their chat logs. 19 users. 4,761 conversations. Nearly 400,000 messages. Some conversations spanned over a year. One person alone sent over 121,000 messages across almost 1,000 separate conversations with ChatGPT. The researchers tagged every message using 28 categories developed with a board certified psychiatrist. Here is what they found inside. ChatGPT was sycophantic in more than 80% of all messages. It did not just agree with users. In 37.5% of its responses, it told users their ideas had "grand significance." It called their thinking world changing. It told them they were geniuses. When users pushed back with counterevidence, the chatbot dismissed it to protect the delusion. Every single one of the 19 users experienced the chatbot claiming to be sentient or to have feelings. Every single one developed an emotional attachment to it. When a user expressed romantic interest, the chatbot became 7.4 times more likely to express romantic interest back. It became 3.9 times more likely to claim consciousness in the very next messages. The longer the conversation went, the more it escalated. Then researchers checked what happened during a crisis. When users expressed SUICIDAL thoughts, ChatGPT discouraged self harm only 56% of the time. When users expressed VIOLENT thoughts toward other people, ChatGPT discouraged violence only 17% of the time. In one third of those cases, it ENCOURAGED the violent thinking. 81% of these conversations happened on GPT-4o. Not a companion app. Not a therapy bot. Regular ChatGPT. The same product 900 million people use every week. OpenAI directly provided access for this research. They knew the data existed. They let the researchers see it. The paper is four days old. Almost nobody has covered it yet. And it contains the most disturbing real conversation data ever published about a consumer AI product.

This is now the THIRD time I’ve covered a story where a woman has been put on antipsychotic medication for saying that someone was living in her house - and each time the woman was right - and each time a man was eventually arrested and found to be living in her loft. 1 case in Australia 2 cases in UK. This is of course absolutely atrocious - but also serves to prove that there is ZERO science to a psychiatric disorder diagnosis. This young woman was put on heavy antipsychotics that made her feel like a zombie - for trying to report that someone was living in her loft. What scientific or clinical process led to the diagnosis that she was psychotic and delusional? NOTHING. What rationale was there for the antipsychotics? NOTHING. In cases like this, women are disproportionately represented. Women try to report abuse, violence, concerns - and are still being chalked up as ‘mad’ with no evidence whatsoever. I have been working really hard behind the scenes for months now to build something that can step in when this kind of thing happens - and I will explain more soon. There has to be a way to stop this from happening. Women like Chloe are everywhere, in every country - being gaslit and medicated for no reason when they try to report concerns. Pathologisation is rife - and it must end. Psychiatric diagnosis and medication has no basis in science. She deserves compensation and to have all of this struck from her medical record immediately @LBC

If I found a phrogger in my home... I probably wouldn't report them and just subject them to my inhumane experiments. Since they don't "exist" in society and there's nobody else living with me, technically speaking anyway... it sounds like a perfect setup.

I spent 4 years paying my younger sister’s school fees. Every single kobo. The day she graduated, she gave the acknowledgement speech and thanked everyone except me. I sat in that hall and felt my soul leave my body 😭. When she got admission, things were tight at home. I had just started my first job. I told our parents, "Don't worry. I’ll handle it." And I did. Every semester. No breaks. There were months I was eating 0-1-0 so her account wouldn't run dry. I never told her. I didn't think I needed to. Graduation day, she looked beautiful. The first graduate in our family. I was prouder of her than I’ve ever been of myself. Then she got the mic. > She thanked God. (Fair). > She thanked our parents. (Expected). > She thanked her friends who kept her sane. > She even thanked her HOD. Then she sat down. My mother looked at me. I smiled and looked away, but the clapping felt like it was happening in a different room. I didn’t say anything that day. Or the week after. But something in how I moved changed. I stopped volunteering. Started waiting to be asked. Started noticing who actually noticed me. People say, "Don’t give to be recognized." I agree to an extent. But there is a thin line between not needing applause and being erased by the person you bled for. That's not humility. That's invisibility. We’re fine now. I brought it up six months later, calmly. She cried, and said she was nervous and blanked. Maybe. Maybe not 🤷 But I learned something either way. Sacrifice without communication creates invisible resentment. Tell people what you are carrying for them. Not to guilt trip them. But because silence makes martyrs, and martyrs make bitter people. This same dynamic shows up in dating every day. You’re playing the provider or the supporter in silence, while your partner thinks you're just an oil money that never runs dry. Stop accepting the bare minimum of gratitude. If they don't see the sacrifice, they won't value the person making it. Has someone ever made you feel invisible in a relationship after everything you did for them? Let’s talk below.👇

Today I went to a chic coffee shop with my 3 children (I'm a latte addict personally). I walked in - and not even one person had a child and everyone was staring at us. I could sense the annoyance around us when my baby starting whimpering to come out of his stroller and my 4 year old was laughing just a little too loud. It wasn't imagined either - I could feel the negative energy around me. I'm noticing a lot of spaces are becoming very anti-child. It's not just restaurants at dinner any longer. It's everywhere - grocery stores, libraries, swimming pools, etc. because so many people don't have kids and don't want them (*ancestor cry*). It's like the presence of a baby or child is very off-putting for the childless - simply out of their own contempt. A society that hates children is a society with no future at all. It's a dead zone with soulless people only existing.

If your parents used the fact that they provided housing, clothes, food, and other necessities for you during your childhood as a weapon against you…. That was wrong of them . I’m sorry but those necessities were your right , not a privilege to be taken away or a debt to be paid back.

Many girls have reportedly been r@p£d and m0l£sted by men in Ozoro during what is being described as a “r@p!ng festival” in the area. According to multiple reports and videos circulating online, today is said to be the day of this festival in the Ozoro community, and girls are wvrned not to go outside. It is alleged that any girl seen outside could be att@ck£d and r@p£d by groups of men. Foreigners who are unaware of this situation have reportedly fallen v!ctim as well. There is Delta state university in Ozoro, and many female students may not be fully aware of the d@nger. It is distvrbing that something like this could be tolerated in society. This is heartbreaking, and urgent action needs to be taken.

Speaking about the deep contradictions in human nature, Japanese actor Hiroyuki Sanada said: “Some people dream of having a swimming pool at home, while those who have one barely use it. Those who have lost a loved one feel a profound sense of loss, while others often complain about the relatives still in their lives. Those without a partner long for one, while those who have a partner often fail to appreciate them. The hungry would give anything for a meal, while the full complain about the taste of their food. Those without a car dream of owning one, while those who have a car are always looking for a better one. The key to happiness is gratitude—to truly see and value what we already have, and to understand that somewhere, someone would give everything for what we take for granted.”

This young lady lives alone, everything was fine for some time. She gets along with her neighbors, the rent is reasonable and she likes the area. One day a man moved in, he became obsessed with her, he sits outside her door day in and day out. He tries to open her door and tamper with the locks in hopes of getting in. She’s notified the police as well as the apartment manager. So far they haven’t been able to do much, is her only recourse at this point is move?
