Saw a 30 year old woman today… issue…palpitations! she had sought multiple cardiology consultations over the last 6 months with various tests … Hb has been 7-8 all this time. If there is no blood what will the heart pump ! Ladies… take your Hb seriously!

Today I scrubbed with a plastic surgeon during an SICD implant. I learned how surgeons elegantly maintain a bloodless field to visualize muscle planes. As medically trained EPs, should we be learning some of our surgical techniques from SURGEONS? #Epeeps
