@anannoyedtexan @Zeeman6164 @catmomma83 I'm in CD 21, know him well, am voting and supporting Chip, have done so since he first ran in 2018. He'd rather come home and fight FOR TX than stay in DC and fight the swamp. Mayes isn't a fighter, embedded in TX politics. And he's lied about "MAGA Mayes"

Let's get one thing straight. I don't need or use AI. I make sure to do my research before I respond— civics and history are my lane. Now I didn't say the Senate rushed it. The House did — 3,000 pages, 72 hours, secret meetings, testimony not under oath. That's documented. The Senate took four months. Two different processes. On Angela Paxton — point taken. The FBI investigation was federal. Dan Branch had no reach into that. That part stands.

"The House proceedings were rushed and criticized by members of both parties. But 16 articles including bribery, abuse of office, and obstruction of a federal investigation don't disappear because of a procedural critique. The FBI investigation wasn't political — that was federal. And it continued after the acquittal. Also, Angela Paxton didn't recuse herself. She was barred from voting under Senate rules. There's a difference. She was present at the trial but prohibited from participating in the vote."

@USMC228 @WesleyHuntTX PS - His wife refused herself from voting to impeach or acquit. Go research the political rivalry between Paxton and Dan Branch, especially the 2014 race for OAG between the 2. The accusations started just before the 2014 primary runoff....... by friends of Branch.

"You're right on the Senate acquittal — I'll take that correction. But the Texas House impeached him 121-23, including over 60 Republicans in his own party, on 16 articles including bribery and abuse of office. He was acquitted by a Senate where his wife sat as a member. The FBI investigation continued after acquittal.

When Infowar Writer Jamie White was murdered, 4 people were arrested. Two were minors. Originally all were charged with capital murder. Garza dropped the capital murder charges against all of them. Only one was charged with murder. He was given a crappy plea deal. So bad the judge stepped in and said you’re doing a minimum of 25 years or we’re going to trial. The demon decided he wants to go to trial. They literally have this monster bragging about shooting Jamie and making fun of him for being white. Garza refused to stack up hate charges. During my reporting on Jamie’s murder, I was given an audio recording of one of the co-defendants bragging about disposing the murder weapon and admitting his friend killed Jamie. Austin PD never listened to the audio—until I released it. DA freed the co-defendant in the audio recording days later. It’s all a mess. Federal invention needed.
