Im not one for politics but the situation here in the UK is so grim right now I feel I need to voice my opinion.
Divide and conquer is the oldest trick in the book. The media machine is at it again causing divide meaning the real issue is being missed. Why is everyone falling for these tricks again.
In order to see change we need peaceful resolutions. This is not a us vs them on a people level. It's has to be people together united against current UK government laws and policies. That way will change things.
It seems to me this is all being manufactured for something bigger. New laws, more control, money printing and new government contracts for the boys are founded from chaos and crisis like this. COVID was the most recent example how Michelle Mone isnt in prison I will never know but it's been happening for decades. If this continues watch all the top government donors and mates get all the million £ security and prison contracts etc.
When it comes to where I stand. I just want the people of the country to unite together and stop witch hunting each other because of race or religion. Many people who have been targeted by these riots have contributed so much to this country.
The problem for me IS THE LAW (NOT THE PEOPLE) that allows continued influx of undocumented migrants from non-war torn counties who have travelled the length of Europe, been 'safe' in 5-6 other countries before arriving here.
The people arriving are not to blame they have an opportunity to better their lives and I would do anything I can to better my families lives if I was in their situation. It's the law and the people in power that needs changing.
If you were to ask the minority and muslim communities who are being directly blamed for this "should 18-25 year old males be allowed to land from shores, with no credentials and be given free housing, benefits, healthcare, education? Their answer would be no but we're resorting to hate first and not having these open discussions.
Fact is, this country is fucked. A shell of what it was. Education system is fucked, NHS is finished, Taxes are crazy, Cost of living insane, Elderly people who lived through the war can't afford to heat in the winter but we welcomed an thousands of migrants last year in 2023 alone costing Billions. Why we are supporting a war in Ukraine I’ll never know when we cant even look after our own. It’s a fucking joke.
We rely on cheap foreign labor and the people are fed up with mass immigration. The border's basically open. Legal immigration when I was growing up was about 55k a year—now that’s the number coming in illegally.
My company had 2 web developers come to the country legally. They are skilled workers earning good money, paying more tax than most and contributing to the economy. This is the right way to do things in my opinion. Undocumented migrant males landing our shores and then being put up in hotels on taxpayer NEEDS TO STOP.
Last point on this and I won't be replying to all comments trying to bait me. We need to do things peacefully and properly. Not rioting and looting like a gang of rats. But the gov and police do need to understand these riots are just a symptom of bigger problems. The authorities will crack down on the rioters, but they won’t fix what's really causing the tension.
Last thing, remember your phone, the news channels and social media are being used as WEAPON AGAINST YOU. The algorithms on the apps benefits from hate. Don't fall for the trap.
