The IRGC has released footage showing the downing of a U.S. Air Force A-10C Thunderbolt II near the Strait of Hormuz. The IRGC possibly used 358/359, Ghaem-118, Majid (AD-08) or 9-Dey short-range air defense (SHORAD) system.

@AdamMJ2 @OSINTWarfare Cope? Just looking at the video. Definitely not an A-10. How did Iran get a video of this shoot down from ABOVE the target anyway? This perspective can only be from another aircraft, Iran is not flying anything anywhere. Lots of problems with this video.

@OSINTWarfare @OnDisasters Just look at the perspective of the video. It is shot from above the target. No way that Iran is flying above whatever that is and getting a video of the impact. Iran did not take this video.

@clashreport Just look at the video perspective. No way Iran would be able to film this shot FROM ABOVE the target. They would need to be flying at a significant altitude to get this view. Iran is not flying anything anywhere.

@OSINTWarfare Looks like a Bayraktar TB3 to me. I see outboard wing engines and high tail. The whole video is sus tho. The missile hits it and it is still continuing on the same flight path?

I know many are saying this is an MQ-9, but it doesn’t look like a Reaper to me. In any case, whether the footage is real or shows a different aircraft, U.S. officials have confirmed that an A-10 was downed by Iranian air defenses and crashed into the Persian Gulf.

Iranian channels publish footage of U.S. Air Force HC-130J Combat King II and HH-60G Pave Hawk search and rescue (SAR) aircraft conducting an operation in Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad province in southern Iran this afternoon. These assets are dedicated for personnel recovery operations. Earlier today, photos have emerged of the remains of a U.S. Air Force F-15E Strike Eagle that has crashed somewhere in Iran, so its possible that a SAR operation to evacuate its crew-members might be now be underway, although its not confirmed yet.

ABSOLUTE HEROES. Pilot Antoine Forest and First Officer Mackenzie Gunther tragically lost their lives in Sunday’s horrific LaGuardia crash, but they made the ultimate sacrifice and saved EVERY SINGLE passenger on board. Their Air Canada flight collided with a firetruck, but because of their incredible bravery, everyone else walked away. Survivor Rebecca Liquori said it best: she is “forever indebted” to them. God bless these two heroes and their families. This is what true bravery looks like! 🙏
