I have to be honest. Caroline has been more than happy to use Indigenous policy as a wedge issue. Focusing on DRIPA, land acknowledgements, private property, and new rules around the who can go to public parks. That’s totally okay. They are all policies, worthy of discussion, debate, and civil discourse. But this statement seems inconsistent with some of her other comments. The Indian Act is arguably the most racist policy and it still exists today. So you might say - why doesn’t she do an interview about all these things where we can have a thoughtful discussion. My team reached out like 3x via email, with no response. Then I messaged one of her team members who said after March 20, and they said that publicly. Where they said “I shouldn’t make public statements” about trying to get an interview. Then it was moved to after the first debate and they committed to following up - with no follow up since. If you make a lot of your political campaign centred around Indigenous issues, you’d think they’d be glad to speak with an Indigenous person about them. I think I’ve been very reasonable, open minded and respectful to guests who have strong views. I also, don’t want to pretend I’m the only interviewer to offer polite push back. But I haven’t seen any interviews that challenge these statements respectfully. I feel I’ve waited a very reasonable amount of time before saying this. My first reach out was February 23. I just think people who are seeking to become Premier, and have policy prescriptions for our Province, should seek opportunities to have those understandings discussed, and challenged for the betterment of all citizens. But maybe I’m crazy.

🚨WATCH: Caroline Elliott CONFIRMS her view that Canada “has a racist past.” Not my words, hers. This is the “conservative” you want leading the BC Conservative Party?

1/3 We're at that part of the BC Conservative leadership campaign where the culling of new South Asian members begins, for a variety of manufactured reasons. (What a vague email). Once the race ends, the pandering to the community will resume right on schedule. #bcpoli #cdnpoli

Conscription is coming to Canada. Ukrainian-style conscription. Listen to Canada's top general say, out loud, that they've learned from the Ukrainian 'mobilization' model. That's where they drag people out of their homes and cars, at gunpoint, to fight at the front. Remember, she wants 300K-400K troops. Enjoy your sunny ways, Canada. LOST FREEDOM FILES # 5105

I’m proud of the run we’re on. Over the past few weeks, I’ve sat down with the Premier of BC, two BC Conservative leadership candidates: Peter Milobar and Iain Black and Interim Leader Trevor Halford. A huge shoutout to Peter and Iain for giving me more than an hour each for a serious, substantive conversation. I’ll be honest: I’m disappointed, though not surprised, that some of the loudest voices on Indigenous issues have not responded to my invitations. It's easy to scream into an echo chamber and offer red meat to the base. No one is obligated to come on my show. But it’s hard to argue I’m not speaking with important voices in BC politics, or that I’m not open to tough conversations across the spectrum. I have a debate on whether we should even be reconciling dropping this Wednesday. I’d welcome the opportunity to have the same kind of thoughtful, challenging conversation with them too.

Chief Casimir, who wants 1.25 million hectares around Kamloops and 50% of the region’s revenue forever, now goes by Chief Cashier.

How many times can @TrevHal mislead British Columbians before they start to lose trust in his leadership? I've hit my quota. Oil still sells at global market prices.

Thanks for the lovely portrait, @kyranikanavaros 📸

Pallas actually has a great track record in BC. You should check it out.

It is imperative that younger generations of elected officials, political operatives, staffers, consultants, pundits, pollsters, journalists and reporters hold ourselves to higher standards than the generations before us. If we want new talent in our collective industry we must create and sustain a respectable culture worth being a part of.

In a leadership race, polls are a great way to scare sitting MLAs into staying on the sidelines. There are huge discrepancies between this commissioned poll from a Toronto based company and what we have seen in BC polling.

We (Team Caroline Elliott) have been publishing our internals at nearly every point in the race, and predictably, folks say our internals are “made up”. This time, our campaign commissioned a 3rd party poll to see if it validated our internals. I’m very happy to say that it has. Here’s what we’ve been seeing (and what Pallas confirms). 1. Yuri experienced a surge in the immediate aftermath of his OneBC deal (from approximately 8% to approximately 18%) since the video we dropped of him saying we live on stolen land, and people starting to really think about the implications of the OneBC Deal, he has dropped back to where he was. 2. Elliott and Black have gained but the primary beneficiary of Yuri's collapse has been KLF. She is now in second place being chased by Black. 3. Iain Black and Peter Milobar have been locked in a “mini-primary” over who gets to be the standard bearer for the so-called “BC Liberal wing” of the Party. It’s clear that at present, Iain is winning that fight. 4. Yuri has spent most of the campaign attacking Caroline but 2nd ballot polling shows there are VERY few voters to get from her. He’s competing primarily with KLF for the same voter pool. 5. Caroline is still strongly in first place. 6. Undecideds are down to 12%. Much smaller than at earlier points in the race. 7. Still a lot of time left on the ice.

End the TFW program and start backing Canadians. Small businesses are struggling, especially in rural communities. Long hours, thin margins, real pressure. I get it. But flooding the market with temporary labour isn’t the answer. It holds wages down and pushes young Canadians out of the workforce. Fix the conditions. Build a workforce here. Scrap the program.

You see this kind of thing in struggling lower-income Southern households, and it tells a very specific story. When life hasn't delivered much.... no wealth, no power, no real social standing.... some folks discover that white supremacy is basically a free membership card to a club that makes them feel superior without requiring any actual achievement. It's the world's laziest status symbol. The starter kit is always the same: *A Confederate flag honoring a war their ancestors lost badly 160 years ago. *A gun they'll never actually need. *A Bible they've never actually read. *And Fox News running 24/7 telling them they're REAL Americans.... unlike those fancy elitist Democrats who are secretly importing an army of replacement voters to steal their.... Their what exactly? Their Dollar General? Their 1987 Camaro on cinder blocks in the yard? FOX found the formula, and they never let go of it: Take a man who has nothing, tell him the reason he has nothing is because those people are taking it.... and suddenly he's not a struggling nobody. He's a soldier in a cultural war. He matters. He's relevant. He becomes a MAGA Warrior! And THAT.... ladies and gentlemen.... is precisely how a twice-impeached, four-times-indicted, 34-time felon, bankrupt New York con man who golfs at his own resorts became the hero of the working man. You genuinely cannot make this stuff up. And I write this so that hopefully they will recognize what they have done and what they are doing and snap out of it..... I was born and raised in Appalachia ... These very people could be my relatives ..... but ... I .... got common sense from my granny ----- "question everything". VIA~Lee Murphy

@CoryBMorgan When you thought the Glen Clark NDP was bad, David Eby has taken “bad” to a new level best described as “appalling!”
