I have plenty of "contacts" in my phone for example, but while some of them are welcome to show up to my house at any time, there's other's I'd rather have ask first. Same in VRC.

Guys I get the “why I’m always on orange/red status” bit but if you’re only expecting people to put in the effort to always come see you but never go see them it comes off very one-sided and they will stop trying; at that point if they decide to do a wipe don’t get upset.

I know VRChat has got a lot of much more important things to work on, but I've always said that this trick could be super cool for desktop users. Would suit VRC perfectly, and be such a mindblow for new users if it just worked without needing any hardware spare the webcam.

@dtupper @SM4gamings I would love to have a feature to have friends instances but for different groups of friends, like theres already a couple different favorite friends lists. would be cool to make an instance specifically for one of those

@SM4gamings I use orange exclusively because I have different friend groups that I appreciate and love to hang out with, but they have totally different vibes. Having friend A from group 1 join on me when I'm in group 2 runs a serious risk of messing up the vibes of group 2
