First, they tried to cover up the entire scandal by leaking that the whole allegation was baseless. Now the CEO himself has admitted that his office did receive these Form 6 applications. The only question that remains is, who gave him the authority to accept them? On what statutory provision were these fraudulent, bulk Form 6 applications accepted? Especially when the Hon’ble Supreme Court had categorically stated that appeals by voters under adjudication would be heard exclusively by Appellate Tribunals? When ECI’s own instructions clearly limit submissions to just 50 Form 6 per day per individual?
