A dozen states did this to nuclear power in the ‘70s and ‘80s. It helped killed the industry for forty years. Many states have repealed those measures since 2016. Applying the “will of the people” to infrastructure is how you get a country that can’t build anything.
Emerald Robinson ✝️@EmeraldRobinson

Nobody in America voted for data centers. Nobody in America voted for AI. Nobody in America voted for surveillance capitalism. The entire fabric of our society is being changed without the will of the people. Without a vote.

Data center demand is not impossible because of turbine blade shortages. We’ve done this before: In 2002, the US grid added 57 GW of natural gas capacity in a single year, and almost 200 GW in 5 yrs. That’s higher than data center forecasts. Then what’s the problem? 🧵

Chelsea Handler said Tony Hinchcliffe & Shane Gillis went to Saudi Arabia for a comedy festival. When in fact, they were 2 of the few that didn’t take that payday. However she still had dinner with Jeffrey Epstein.

The largest data center in the world is in Hohhot, China, and is 230 acres. Utah just approved the building of a 40,000 acre data center. That’s 62.5 square miles. WTF are they ACTUALLY doing on that land?!

Why is the LDS Church is pumping out these Communist Soy boy cucks. WTF happened to the Church I grew up in. This dude would have gotten his 🫏 kicked back in my day. Cheering on his own destruction. He Can’t be a real person

The “23 atomic bombs” talking point is complete BS. By the same math, the sunlight that hits the 40k acre property this data center will be built on already produces over 50 atomic bombs worth of heat energy daily. This is a misinformation campaign we are watching in real time.

Residents have filed multiple referendums in Box Elder County to overturn the commission's approval of the fiercely opposed Stratos-MIDA Data Center. The county has 20 days to complete its review. kslnewsradio.com/?p=2301157 ✍️: Heather Peterson, KSL 📸: Tim Vandenack, KSL

And it's the same statistic statewide! 93% of Utahns say no to killing ourselves and the planet. If our state and local leaders fail to listen then they will find themselves without their title. We the people, forever & always 🇺🇸🐝#utpol
Andy Larsen@andyblarsen

We GRAMAed the public comments about the proposed Stratos data center. Of residents of Box Elder County, 242 were against, with just seven in favor. Of those in Utah overall, it was approximately 93.5% against, 0.6% in favor. sltrib.com/news/2026/05/1…

Kevin O'Leary's proposed data center in Utah will require 9 Gigawatts of energy to function when fully built, double Utah's current energy usage for the entire state. It will dump around 23 atomic bombs worth of thermal load on the environment every day.

Funny thing is that to get to this proposed data center site - opponents have to literally be bussed right past and then 15 miles to the west of the "Rocket Ranch". 22,000 acres. 800+ buildings. 4.6 million square feet of manufacturing. At its peak- it employed 6500 workers. Rocket Ranch is Northrup Grumman's Promontory Plant - aka ATK/Thiokol. It produces the massive Solid Rocket Motors (SMRs) for NASA’s SLS Artemis program and U.S. ICBMs including the new Sentinel missile. This heavy-industrial military site has been building and testing rocket motors, mixing propellants etc for 70 years. The two locations are 15 miles apart. Protestors have to drive past the manufacturing facility for ICBM rocket motors to protest a data center that will produce: "23 atom bombs of heat" each day. Ironic.
More Perfect Union@MorePerfectUS

Kevin O’Leary claims without evidence that 90% of the people protesting his 40,000 acre Utah data center are “being bussed in” and don’t even live in the state.

We all know why he lost. He took the fall. Kadyrov and his UAE Masters made bank. Chimaev made bank for his last fight in the division he was planning to leave anyways. And who better to lose against than his gym buddy! The friendship was so obvious to see. No submission attempts by Chimaev, the guy who broke Whittaker's jaw within 20 seconds! How he gave up ground control in all the rounds on the first opportunity he got. Strickland's jabs and teeps looked like they were being delivered in slow motion. And Chimaev ate all that. Hard weight cut was just a bullshit excuse. Chimaev had no other interest in this fight apart from making money. That is why he almost botched his weight cut and the UFC literally pulled favours to manage that!

@KimballCall @ZacksJerryRig Heat radiates and air moves you dip shit. The hot air goes somewhere and it appears it might just go straight into you right now. Maybe this data center will be fine if Mr. Asshole disclosed that.
