@MattKopnak Think they need to seriously consider that Lyon/UPL isn’t good enough to get it done. It was steady and good throughout the year but we need a better goalie to reach the next level. To play the way this team plays, we need bigger saves.

If they don’t re-sign Tuch, and the trade doesn’t involve Ostlund, Helenius, or Kulich, I’d be interested in Hellebuyck. His age and contract don’t scare me. Elite goalies age well. If UPL goes the other way, it’s only a $3.75M cap add. Add Quinn too and it’s basically a wash.

@JamesRadio Kulich’s gonna be really good man. You saw his skill in his rookie year and had an unfortunate injury last year. Just announced he’s able to continue playing hockey. I’m pumped.

@BraytonJWilson I’m so torn. I don’t ultimately think trading any of them is a good idea. With regards to Konsta and Ostlund I don’t think there’s any way you can trade either. If Kulich didn’t have the freak blood clot issue, my inclination is to say we’d be having similar thoughts about him.

@NotTheJoeMarino Giving up Ostlund would sting a lot but between him and Konsta I think it’s gotta be him. Personally I was very close to picking no deal and I’m still second guessing my choice to pick Ostlund over just reaping benefits of both for years to come.

@nhltraderumours Leafs really have NOTHING to trade, so how are they getting McDavid, especially when this article talks about keeping Matthews AND McKenna? All three of those things are not happening. Cowan, Danford etc are not assets that get a McDavid deal done.
