@DavidDack miles 1-12 fine then full sabotage is such a familiar pattern. for me it was always something from 2-3 days before race day, not race morning. periodization tracking might surface it earlier than you'd think.

1 year vegetarian now I feel amazing no aches or pains 0 health issues fitter and healthier than I've ever been very flexible and body moves easily, super strong i can do handstands and lift 120 kg body feels very light, no stomach issues get sick very rarely now best gut activity ive ever had highly recomemnded i eat what i crave 0 cavings for meat After 1 year, meat looks like rotting carcas on the table for me now, and the smell is strong and not nice.

Six months into being vegetarian, I feel incredible. I’ve never felt healthier in my life. I have lots of energy, my body feels light and super fit, and my stools are perfect. I never had any digestive problems or pains. I feel light on my feet, fit, and faster. I’ve lost weight and feel great. I also feel much cleaner. It’s like my body is holy and shining. My skin also looks younger. I have no cravings for meat. The longer I’ve been vegetarian, the more shocking and difficult it is to smell meat and dead animals on the table. Now, meat smells putrid and decaying.

@creative__ui the eating-on-empty-then-it-gets-worse loop is brutal. for me skipping breakfast then eating something heavier midday was a guaranteed bad afternoon. swapped to something small and bland first (banana, plain toast) before the real meal and it helped more than i expected.

Monday morning and I'm feeling so unmotivated to do anything because of stomach pains. It started yesterday during service. I thought it was just hunger because I didn't eat to church. As I got home, I prepared something and ate. But the pains didn't go away. It was even getting more intense. I've never experienced this before. I had to go to a chemist close by to get some drugs yesterday. The nurse there told me it was constipation. She gave me some tablets and a syrup. I took the drugs and felt relieved. But this morning, it has started again and it's driving me nuts. 😫

@rintarou_IBS the "getting worse" part is the worst. you start wondering if it's something new or just the same thing louder. when mine spiraled, writing down every meal for a week was the only thing that cut through the noise. the pattern was usually boring (dairy, again).
