"We can try to get guys in a positive mind frame because I know a lot of guys can get down individually if things aren't going their way. We do have an emotional team, so it can spiral if it gets too crazy. So it's just about trying to keep everybody's spirit up and understanding we're a really good team."

This is probably the Easter mimosas talking here but I think it’s fair to say this Timberwolves season has felt stale and at times joyless while also believing that this team does indeed have a playoff switch that they can (and will) flip come mid-April.

That's 3 losses in a row for the Wolves, who now find themselves 3 losses behind 5th seed Houston.
The Wolves do play Houston once more (and for the tiebreaker), but it does seem likely that it's going to be the Wolves in the 6 -- drawing whoever finishes with a better record between the Lakers and Nuggets.

Comp update: Kirk Cousins will sign a five-year, $172 million deal with the Raiders that in reality is a one-year, fully-guaranteed $20 million deal that also contains a club option for two years at $80M. The Falcons will pay Cousins $8.7 million this season, the Raiders another $1.3 million and Las Vegas also agreed to pay its new QB a fully-guaranteed $10 million roster bonus on the third day of the 2027 new league year. And maybe most notably, it also sets another new mark: this will be the 11th straight NFL season in which Cousins’ contract will be fully guaranteed.

I’d be pretty shocked if Wolves weren’t the 6th seed so results less important than: - TJ looking somewhat viable again - Rudy looking unplayable against a good team/big again - DDV getting hunted defensively like last season’s playoffs - SloMo making the non-Rudy mins work

Hell of a win, that. Really loved the way Jaden and Naz showed up when they needed them in the second half. Bones and Ayo continue to be kindling that this team needs. Those 4 players suit the style needed to beat good teams imo.
