@LeonWatson @ConradScott13 @Amy84926023 @passportwaiting I’d recommend put upgrade in (all docs need to be scanned on system already) if nothing moves go to your local office 48-72 hours before you fly, they are working very close to the wire! If it does get approve get yourself down to the office asap! Before they bloody post it!

3/3 Durham called last night offering to print on Sunday. Misinformation as nowhere in the country prints on Sunday so I got a phone call this morning @HM_Passport to say they couldn’t do anything else. So upset and at a loss when my sons passport has been done @YvetteCooperMP

2/3 passport was mistakenly printed & sent out via courier, despite @HM_Passport knowing my travel was 6am Mon. I was at Durham Fri trying to get my hands on it but couldn’t. @FedExEurope have been no help to try & get hold of it, despite tracking delivery 07/05 it didn’t arrive

1/3 so it’s Sunday evening, we are supposed to be on a flight at 6am tomorrow morning but my sons first passport was nearly in our grasps but the weekend has put a stop to that! Despite following upgrade process and the application be big approved on Thurs eve…

@alicemarson1 @Truth_be_toldny @deanevans24 @passportwaiting So bad news is they don’t print on Sundays so I’m screwed and won’t be on my 6am Monday flight tomorrow! But no I didn’t have copies or anything, it depends what stage the process is up to and hopefully they have everything scanned in or at least the ability to scan it in

@Twazym @deanevans24 @passportwaiting hope you get your soon. I have a feeling they maybask for marriage cert from us too. We’re on 11th week now and now being told app is in examination since apr 26. How long did they take for them to let you know they need marriage cert after submitting app?

@alicemarson1 @deanevans24 @passportwaiting …go to passport office with all your docs. I was at Durham today and they were trying to sort everyone out. From Facebook I have noticed lots more success stories than negative ones, things definitely speeding up I think! They are working nights and weekends to get it sorted

@Twazym @deanevans24 @passportwaiting I’m in the same situ, sent my wedding certificate recorded next day delivery Tuesday and no update yet.. did they give you a time frame? We fly 4th June and I’m so anxious!

@alicemarson1 @deanevans24 @passportwaiting I have heard 3 weeks being mentioned for docs scanning in. I’d recommend just waiting, if they don’t get to you two weeks before you fly start the upgrade process. Have copies of marriage certificate etc if poss. Then 2/3 days before flight if still not heard anything…

@Twazym @passportwaiting I had send the letter into Bootle also. How do you manage get through. Every time I rung it was saying phone lines are busy and ended the call

@deanevans24 @passportwaiting It wasn’t too bad, rang at 8 on the dot and got through quite quickly. But they set you up for a call back and that person rang within two hours

@deanevans24 @passportwaiting Same! I sent marriage cert that was signed for on Tuesday 26th but still getting email reminders. Called today and it hasn’t been scanned in, they are asking for it to be scanned from bootle. need upgrade processing by Friday or no holiday for us

@passportwaiting My partner was asked to write a letter confirming she was the mother for a child’s renewal last Wednesday. Today I received an email saying still waiting for docs. But also said if sent please ignore. Application process not been updated online

I was ready to call again in the afternoon today & was on hold on a web chat when the guy actually called and we were on the phone all of 3 minutes . It all seemed too easy lol.
