Popular HMP Dovegate Prison Officer Earl ‘Sam’ Fuller died on 29th April 2020 aged 60. Born in Jamaica, he emigrated to Britain at 14. CSgt Fuller served with Worcestershire & Sherwood Foresters Regt for more than 20 yrs and was the British Army’s first black Drum Major.

Most Black actors get their hair cut or styled outside of set, often at their own expense because Hollywood hairstylists are one size fit all and that ‘all’ does not include Black hair. This has been my experience for the last 20 years in the business & it hasn’t changed at all.

8,586,000 soldiers from the British Empire were enlisted to help Britain during WW1. Around 1,780,000 of these soldiers were from India. Khudadad Khan was the first Indian soldier awarded a Victoria Cross. This year the British Legion has released the special 'Khadi' poppy.
