But when you look at the fee Aston Villa would likely demand, I just don't think that's the smartest move. Chelsea still need to be careful with their spending under the Premier League's PSR and UEFA's financial rules, and there are still other areas of the squad that need strengthening. Spending well over £100m on one player would make the rest of the window much more difficult. That's why I'd rather Chelsea look at players like Julio Enciso and Ibrahim Maza. Enciso has the intensity, technical ability and versatility that Xabi Alonso demands. He can play on the left, as a No.10 or behind the striker, he's aggressive without the ball, and he's fearless in tight spaces. Ibrahim Maza is another player I really like. He's intelligent, creative, technically secure and can play in different attacking positions. Under Xabi Alonso, I genuinely think he has everything needed to develop into a top player. For me, this is the kind of market Chelsea should be attacking under Xabi Alonso, finding players who naturally fit his football instead of forcing a blockbuster signing just because it's the biggest name available. Build the squad properly, strengthen multiple positions, and give the manager profiles he can actually maximize. If Garnacho leaves, I'd seriously consider Julio Enciso. Would you take Enciso, Ibrahim Maza, or do you have another realistic option?

This murder is shocking. The original arrest of a white British man was incorrect and he is now not part of this investigation. Now we wait to see if the police can find the offender.
