So if I understand the Left correctly, my ancestors stole the land in 1607, but the anchor baby dropped here twelve minutes ago is entitled to it??

BREAKING: The identity of the man that berated the two teenage female Sophie Cunningham supporters at the Seattle Storm vs Indiana Fever game is Marco Esquivel. Esquivel is a Nordstrom corporate employee in Seattle. His LinkedIn is no longer active. @Nordstrom, will you publicly condemn his actions?

The WNBA just admitted that its own social-media department published a post depicting two players wagering on a league game... despite those players receiving annual training on policies prohibiting exactly that conduct. Then the league deleted the evidence, called it “lighthearted,” and handled everything “internally.”

Here's the real problem: you're full of shit. For a start, they consume billions more in taxpayer-funded services then they contribute and tax those services to the breaking point.

@lhjtennessee @TheTNHoller @GovBillLee Here's the real problem: illegal immigrants are not in fact the source of any of our daily problems. This is performative nonsense that cannot in any tangible way, improve any of our lives.

Last night, @seattlestorm co-owner Celeste Keaton cursed out two teen girls for wearing @xx_xyathletics shirts, calling them "f*cking insane." One of them was left in tears. I tried to get security involved and was told I should email the front office.

Anthony Fauci accepted a presidential pardon, thus admitting his crimes. Yet, he still gets Secret Service protection, a security clearance, and a $450k yearly pension. @POTUS must immediately END this travesty. This animal is responsible for 7 million deaths.

You misunderstood his question. He wasn't asking if the states could haul Fauci in four more questions. He was asking if they can charge Fauci with a crime. And they may be able--if there's one on the books that fits (though I think sovereign immunity covers him from any COVID screwups). What he wanted to know was whether the pardon applied. It doesn't.

@Tweetoleon Fauci invokes his 5th amendment protections against state level prosecutions and a perjury trap, etc. Since Brown v. Walker 5A protections also protect at a state level, so 5A can still apply even with a presidential pardon…

As Hawley correctly explained in his questioning, SCOTUS ruled on this a century ago. If you have a pardon, you can't take the Fifth. Congress *can* issue a contempt citation and make a criminal referral to DoJ. AAG for DC *can* choose to prosecute. What Team Screwup WILL do is another matter.
Physics Geek@physicsgeek

Legal question: can someone who has been given immunity from prosecution via a blanket pardon claim the 5th? It seems that that should not be permissible but how exactly is the DOJ supposed to force this issue

Fauci's lack of candor to Congress is unbelievable. My office is launching an investigation into Dr. Fauci. It's past time we get the truth of what happened during COVID.

So two WNBA players placed bet on the game and instead of condemning it, the WNBA itself posted a playful clip about it? There’s a different level of privilege for some players in that league because we know others would immediately be dismissed.

The final 90 seconds of Senator Josh Hawley’s questioning of Anthony Fauci is pure cinema. Hawley ended the exchange by cutting Fauci down to the bone with everything he had exposed. The last two lines hit the hardest. Fauci knew Hawley had him dead to rights, and the look on his face was priceless. HAWLEY: “Yeah, well, silence is admission.” “And here’s the real thing…at the end of the day, it wasn’t just about the money, really, was it?” “It was really about a power trip. I mean, through all of this, you wanted to be the most famous scientist in the world. You were so focused on getting every award and every drop of cash that you could, all because you wanted to be on TV.” “You wanted to be the sun god of science.” “You wanted to be the guy who was in charge of it all.” “You wanted to lambaste Trump.” “You wanted to make sure that nobody else stole your spotlight.” “YOU wanted to be the GUY.” “You had time to sit for InStyle magazine. Here’s what you were doing with your time. You could sit for InStyle magazine, but you can’t answer questions for the American people!” “You could sit for InStyle magazine, but you’re here taking the Fifth!” “You could sit for InStyle magazine and get a MILLION BUCKS in cash awards, but now the cat’s got your tongue.” “I bet he does!” “I’ll tell you what, here’s my conclusion from all of this.” “This was really all about you the whole time. Somewhere along the way, you lost your way.” “You may have been a good public servant at one time, I don’t know.” “What I can tell you from reading your emails now, from looking at what you did, how you used your employees, somewhere along the line, it became all about you.” “You became a narcissist and a megalomaniac and a liar, and you’ve lied to the American people, and you’ve lied to this body!” “And you’ve disgraced your profession by doing it.” “You called yourself the most famous scientist in the world… you’ve done more to harm science than anybody in my lifetime.” “And I hope you’ll go home and write that in your diary.” @HawleyMO
