That is the cowards lesson. The real lesson is that if you take a stand for something you know to be right and just you should keep fighting, not retreat. You need to go down brawling for what’s right. You lose your senate seat either way, but you keep your integrity.

@jayphoward @LauraRbnsn I think most trad people denounce modern society while living a life that’s largely facilitated by its benefits. If everyone behaved the way they do these benefits wouldnt exist, yet they resent the system that makes decorating their life with these trad baubles possible.

What's really grim about Christian trad culture is that in the end this content, all these pastors and influencers can sell you is resentment. Not happiness. Just anger you're not happy. What unites every piece of trad media I've looked at is that it has a tortured relationship

I don't know who needs to hear this, but Andor's grim portrayal of homicidal rebels was dumb. Screw Luthen, Saw Gerrera, and Andor himself. Star Wars is a fairy tale. The good guys are good. Han in ANH and Lando in ESB is as gray as they get (which is to say, not very.) To say that the ends justify the means misses the entire point of Anakin's fall.
