Not really sure why I'm even saying this, but lost my mum just over 6 months ago now. Handled it okay. On a rooftop bar in Portugal last week, on a golfing trip with the lads, I absolutely lost it because it's the sort of time I'd have sent her a photo. Grief, bloody hell.

@dkayofficial_ You guys need to start going for higher paying jobs for the same job you’re doing today. This is how women are getting further than you. Take some risks, move companies and don’t get comfortable anywhere. I see too many men taking low paid jobs for no real reason

2.5k per month is nowhere near enough to sustain a family in the UK, let alone London. I don’t think people realise how bad things are economically… Let’s assume he’s saying post-tax: The average rent in London is £2k-£2.7k. You’re breaking even after just paying rent, buying food on top of that puts you in debt. The average rent across the entire UK is ~£1.5k. Then you factor in regular bills on top of that, and again you’re fighting to survive each month without falling into debt. And from here it’s only going to get worse. I don’t mean to fear monger, but you need to get your bread up if you want to sustain a wife, let alone family You need to grind at work, ideally try to create a side business in your free time, and invest spare capital (right now the best investment is crypto, take my word for it)

@UB1UB2 This shurgard needs to be shut down They have a rat infestation A family member used them to store all their belongings as they moved and renovated their home and almost everything got ruined. Barely any compensation was given. Terrible place
