OUR FIRST OFFICIAL PRESS BRIEFING
Journalists may kindly take note:
• We are not here to become a B-team, C-team, or hidden ally of any political party. We will remain fully independent.
• We believe democracy works best when citizens ask questions fearlessly. RTI, public data, audits, field research, and facts will be our strongest weapons.
• We are not launching a party for elections alone , we are building a movement for students, youth, workers, women, senior citizens, and every honest taxpayer.
• Merit must never die. We support a fair system with strong affirmative action that uplifts the weak without destroying excellence.
• Our politics will focus more on jobs, entrepreneurship, inflation, wages, education quality, healthcare, and economic growth ,not endless TV drama.
• Every babu and every neta must be accountable. Power without accountability is corruption in slow motion.
• We will publish data-backed report cards of governments instead of emotional propaganda.
• We will question every government equally , ruling or opposition ,based on facts, not ideology.
• We reject personality cult politics. Institutions are bigger than individuals.
• Nationalism without development is noise. Development without justice is incomplete. We want both.
• We believe educated citizens are stronger than blind supporters.
• We will promote scientific thinking, constitutional values, and policy-based debates instead of hate campaigns.
• Corruption is not just theft of money , it is theft of opportunities from ordinary people.
• Government jobs should reward competence, honesty, and efficiency , not connections and lobbying.
• Public money is sacred. Every rupee collected from taxpayers must show measurable impact.
• We support transparency in political funding and decision-making. Citizens deserve to know who influences power.
• We want governance that works quietly and efficiently, not governance that survives only on slogans and PR campaigns.
• The future belongs to skilled youth, researchers, innovators, and entrepreneurs , not dynasty politics.
• We are not anti-government or anti-opposition. We are pro-citizen.
• This is not a launch of another political brand. This is a demand for responsible politics.

The Great Nicobar project exposes the BJP government’s destructive model of “development” where ecological devastation is repackaged as nationalism and strategic importance. Over 1 million trees face felling in one of the world’s most fragile seismic zones, threatening coral reefs, tropical forests, indigenous communities, and endangered leatherback turtles.
Great Nicobar is not empty land for corporate ambition. It is a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, part of the Sundaland biodiversity hotspot, and home to the Shompen and Nicobarese communities who have protected these ecosystems for generations.
India cannot claim climate leadership while sacrificing irreplaceable forests and biodiversity for headline-driven mega projects. #SaveGreatNicobar

The Konda Reddy tribe of Andhra Pradesh has preserved ecological wisdom that modern science is only beginning to understand.
The Indian laurel tree reportedly stores water within its bark during extreme summers — a remarkable survival system protected through generations of Indigenous knowledge in the Papikonda forests.
Adivasi communities are not separate from nature; they are its oldest guardians.

The Great Nicobar mega project is being sold as “development” and “national security,” but its real cost is forests, biodiversity, and indigenous lives.
Local Nicobarese communities are raising alarm over deforestation, ecological destruction, and threats to the Shompen and Nicobarese tribes in one of the world’s most fragile island ecosystems.
Development without environmental justice is destruction.

Guardian of the Zo People: Pu Vungzagin Valte’s Ultimate Sacrifice.
On May 4, 2023, people gathered at Pu Vungzagin Valte’s Lamphel Ministers quarter seeking safety near Lamphel Police station, Imphal West -795004.
Even as danger loomed, he sent his escorts to protect his people at his residence while he went out to meet and discuss the situation and safety of the Zo ethnic tribe from the Meitei mobs with the then CM @NBirenSingh. But on his way back from Biren Residence, he was attacked and left to die.
This is a selfless act of dedication right in the heart of Imphal West.
The Zomi community and Kuki people must never forget the sacrifices made in the face of ethnic cleansing and state-sponsored violence in Manipur. His bravery and the strength of our people remain a testament to our struggle for justice.

From the halls of the Assembly to a hospital bed in Gurgaon, the tragic journey of Zomi MLA Shri Vungzagin Valte has come to a painful end. For 3 years, he was the face of Manipur’s forgotten victims. While the BJP govt talks of "normalcy," a three-term MLA was left wheelchair-bound and silenced by violence that remains unpunished. The silence of the state is louder than ever. #ManipurViolence

It's been 3 yrs since the #Manipur govt-sponsored ethnic cleansing of the Zo (Zomi,Kuki& Hmar) people began. But justice remains elusive. The Union govt still ignores it, acts as if nothing happens in #Manipur. We want a political solution that protects our land, rights, identity.

I have no hope of justice anymore. Justice is dead. #ManipurViolence

Disturbing scenes from Patana block of Keonjhar, Odisha:
A man, whose unmarried sister passed away, faced difficulties withdrawing her bank savings due to lack of proof. In desperation, he brought her skeletal remains to the bank.
Local police arrived at the scene, calmed Jeetu, and convinced him to rebury the remains.
The Inspector-in-Charge of the Patana police station, Kiran Prasad Sahu, pointed out that the bank failed to properly communicate the procedure to someone who clearly didn't understand the jargon of nominees or legal heirs.
The district administration has finally stepped in. The Block Development Officer (BDO) has promised to expedite the legal heir certificate, and the bank has been directed to release the funds immediately. The authorities also provided ₹20,000 in immediate assistance from the Red Cross fund.
It’s a stark reminder that while rules are meant to prevent fraud, a total lack of empathy and clear communication can push the most vulnerable members of society to such disturbing extremes just to claim what is rightfully theirs.
