Twezuule Foundation is a youth and disability led organization that champions and upholds an inclusive society for persons with disabilities in Uganda.

Missing school should NEVER be part of her period story. Fear of stains, no pads, no changing rooms, no water and teasing keep girls especially those with disabilities away from class every month. A period should pause nothing. #PeriodFriendlyWorld #TwezuuleFoundation

Young people with disabilities are not waiting to be rescued; they are leading and redefining what strength truly means. Your story takes centre stage. "Leave no one behind" is not just a slogan but a solemn promise. #MentalHealthAwarenessMonth #TwezuuleFoundation

82 community members, including 25 persons with disabilities, engaged in a legal awareness session in Arua under the #GEIFProject supported by @CrossroadsIntl, led by FIDA-Uganda. This deliberate inclusion reflects our commitment to ensuring that no one is left behind in accessing justice. ⚖️ At the heart of this work are Community Legal Volunteers (CLVs), our most sustainable pathway to justice at the grassroots. By strengthening their capacity, we are ensuring that legal knowledge, support, and referral pathways remain within communities long after project cycles end. Through discussions on human rights, GBV, land and property rights, family law, and succession, participants gained practical knowledge to navigate everyday legal challenges, while several received immediate legal guidance and follow-up support. 📚 #InclusionTuesday

Breaking barriers one step at a time. Mental health support and ARV adherence programs MUST be accessible to young people with disabilities. Inclusion saves lives. #MentalHealthAwarenessMonth #TwezuuleFoundation
