It is important for the Catholic community to stand in solidarity with the Jewish community in North Texas. As Catholics, we must always remember that God gave us salvation through the Jewish people. We must reject all forms of antisemitism. @NolanCatholic @usccb @RabbiABloom

Priest Debunks Claims "Sound of Freedom" is Political, Calls All to Watch It & Protect Human Life "Sound of Freedom," a movie based on the life-saving mission of former government agent Tim Ballard, hit theaters on July 4. The film starring Jim Caviezel is a hot topic across the nation, as it exposes the scourge of child trafficking. Father Leo Patalinghug of Plating Grace recently explained what he thinks of the film. The priest, who also has a faith-based cooking show on EWTN, explains why the movie's message is not political, but an important message for everyone to see and understand. "We need to do something about this problem," Father Leo begins. "A lot of people have accused this movie as being QAnon adjacent, but honestly, the movie is far from political." "Both sides of the aisle believe that child trafficking is a real epidemic. It is worse now with the slavery of children than it was when slavery was legal," Father Leo adds. "Can you imagine, parents, just losing your children to something as evil and as devastating as child trafficking?" Father Leo then encourages his audience to watch the movie, talk, and pray about the film. Watch the video: bit.ly/3OdD0gr @SOFMovie2023

Just a reminder that corned beef and cabbage can be on the menu for St. Patrick's Day. Although the saint’s feast day falls on a Friday in Lent, Bishop Michael Olson has issued a decree dispensing the faithful of the Diocese of Fort Worth from the law of abstinence from meat.

On February 15, the Religious Sisters of the Good Shepherd with their residents welcomed me to Karunalayam (House of Mercy) in Mangalagiri, India. It is a home for girls who have been abandoned on the streets. They receive education and psychological help even after adulthood.
