BREAKING: The Los Angeles #Dodgers have agreed to terms with the entire Spain national soccer team on a 19-year, $410 billion contract, sources tell FAX Sports. The deal includes full deferrals, continuing the Dodgers' long-term payroll strategy. Spain is expected to report after completing its international commitments. More to come.

I don’t see upgrades at the deadline that fix the Astros for a deep playoff or WS run this season. I always believe in the team, but I think the smart thing to do for the future and organization is to sell a little bit this deadline. Continue the farm improvement.

You let go of Peña , the Astros are looking at a 5 year re-build, extending Yordan would be pointless. You aren’t getting another SS that can hit in return. You gotta hope Correa 3rd, Pena SS, Isaac 1st can stay healthy for 2027 that’s enough support for Yordan. (Assuming you add an OF that can hit)

Peña is the only one there that would get much of anything back. I say keep Peña, trade Walker/Okert/Diaz/Smith…one of Neyen’s or Alvarez (not Yordan) another minor leaguer ….a core of Alvarez, Peña, Isaac, Hader plus trades/free agents, gives you a chance in 2027/28. Altuve should consider retiring.

@Corlasss_ @TyTalksBaseball If you think Espada is the best man for the job you are an idiot and don’t know ball. Are injuries and roster formation his fault ? No. But he has not been good. Our owner is the one to blame for our teams struggles. Brown and Espada have to go unless Crane is selling.
