NEW: New York City teen arrested after he body slammed a girl before stomping on her head because she didn't give him her number. The 15-year-old girl was seen trying to avoid the thug in East Harlem as he pushed her, harassed her, and assaulted her. The 14-year-old thug was later arrested and charged with assault. The girl was sent to the hospital. She suffered a concussion and is in stable condition. Never let this freak out of prison.

@Tyabro @grok @EricLDaugh And I strongly believe under a different US president, with proper briefing and preparation NATO allies would be more than willing to support you. But after all the insults, threats, sanctions, etc. we drew a line. At some point the distrust is just too big to blindly support.

I don't like how Trump does things all the time, but i can't argue that he got Europe to wake up. And the trade between US and Europe was not good. We were taking advantage of each other which only hurt the citizens of both. Didn't like the way that Trump tried to fix it, but it needed fixing. Trade has been shaky for years and covid proved it. Once a country shuts down (like China) trade gets destroyed left and right.

@Tyabro @grok @EricLDaugh But don't you think how Trump does it, is not encouraging but flat out destroying friendships. We had good trade in both directions, we were supporting each others in conflicts and NATO allies were aligned on their goals. Now there is a rift between the US and Europe ->

But you see the problem with that? It took a war to see that Europe would not be ready. Europe is lucky they had USA for a ally and that Ukraine was targeted only. When you take a step back and just think, what would happen if the USA just says fuck it and pulls everything back and let every country do what they want. It would be chaos and wars everywhere. Through out history there has been a world power that kept other nations in check. In the past it was UK, now its the USA, and in the future it will be some other country. All great powers rise and crash. When the USA goes down, does Euorpe want to be in a strong position on its own for the next world power or crash as well? Don't get me wrong, I love Europe as well, but I want Europe to be strong enough to stand on its own feet without the USA so if either one is in trouble, they could rely on another. But thats not what's happening right now. USA is pulling all the weight and its tiring.

@Tyabro @grok @EricLDaugh Eastern Europe equipment are usually more dated. But western is very modern. But true it's not perfect and we were lacking in funding until the Ukraine war. Europe's navy doesn't need destroyers for far reach wars. We have hundreds of corvettes and frigates to defend the coast.

Well because you aint going to tell somone no to using their base. Your just going to cause a scene. And I would never have to imagine Europe send planes over US to get to Russia. The person who gives that idea should be smacked because Russia is in the opposite direction. That is just stupid. USA is located in a location where if you fly anything near us without our promission, we will send you on a one way flight to talk to God about your stupid choice. Any issue we have over here, we would and have never asked Euorpe for help. We handled it

@Tyabro @EricLDaugh You are still using your bases right now to refuel, repair, rearm. But some countries just don't want active military aircraft flying in civilian airspace. Imagine Europe would start flying bombers over the US to Russia. You wouldn't allow it either.

Those results for Europe is not a good thing. You are telling me that you are happy that a group of 30 plus nations having over 500 million people only has that to protect them, over a massive amount of land? And your data stated that most of the equipment of NATO were outdated and stuck in upgrading. NATO's navy is a joke with 17 destroyes and most of the ships being smaller boats that even North Korea, Russia, and China would laugh at. Europe has numbers when it comes to just people and Russia can tell you all about things when it comes to just throwing numbers at the problem with Ukraine telling you how they answered.

@Tyabro @grok @EricLDaugh Not the answer you wanted to hear? We have more active personnel, more than double reserve personnel. More MBTs, more Artillery, a larger navy and comparable number of combat aircraft. Maybe you should look at facts instead of your president spreading lies.

European NATO nations (excl. US/Canada) have ~1.86 million active-duty personnel immediately available across Army, Navy, and Air Force branches (per 2026 IISS Military Balance data). Army/ground forces make up the bulk (~1.2M+ combined); Air Force and Navy vary by country but total the remainder. Top contributors: Turkey 355k, France 202k, Germany 180k, Poland 164k, Italy 162k, UK 141k, Spain 122k, Greece 132k. These are fully active/ready forces, excluding reserves.

@semicolon5757 @EricLDaugh @grok what is the Army, Navy, and Air Force strength of the Euorpean nations of Nato without the USA support that can actively moblize right now and not down for any reason?

@Tyabro @EricLDaugh Europe's military is very comparable in size and equipment. Only difference is you have like 20 unearthy expensive carriers because you fight wars all over the world. Europe could defend itself. NATO members have no obligations whatsoever to aid in an offensive war.

And maybe Europe would get off their lazy ass and build their own military and defences up, now that the US won't protect them from Russia. Europe has been putting money into their economy while looking for US to provide their defence. Then when the US takes action on Iran who supports terrorist groups and is the #1 starter of conflict in the Middle East, a country most of Europe complains about, and we try to use the NATO bases the US pays for, and they say no. Sounds like a shitty deal for the US and now we see how far loyalty stretches in the NATO. We will remember this action.
