@ShamsCharania Dude JUST GO BACK TO THE OLD ODDS That’s the only reason tanking ever became a problem. You could go 0-82 and have a 50% chance of drafting at 5, and a 14% chance of picking 1 Makes no sense. Tanking is a problem cuz the worst teams DONT get the best picks and don’t get better

@SpookyNorwegian I can imagine how difficult that is. I'm fortunate I met my wife shortly after I graduated from undergrad college, even before I started my career. That was 15 years ago, and it seems like things are only getting more difficult.

I know I'm ranting to nobody, but it's better than just bottling it down. Can't afford therapy so this is what I got.

I'm gonna be 36 in three months time, officially making me closer to 40 than 30, and I don't know how to feel about it. Turning 30 was not a big deal, but this kind of hits harder. I'm nowhere. Despite my best efforts, I'm nowhere close to having a family, a house or anything.

Bad teams don’t tank because they are dying to lose for six months straight, alienate fans and create bad habits for their young players. They do it because they have to – the NBA just doesn’t give bad teams a lot of avenues to get better. And a number of the “tanking solutions” that have been proposed would actually make it even HARDER for bad teams to climb out of the bottom of the standings. Flatten the lottery odds? So you’re proposing giving good teams a *better* chance to get the best rookies and bad teams a *worse* chance than they have now? Yeah, that’s bad for the league, bad for fans, bad for players. The NBA needs to focus on creating more pathways to improve, so tanking isn’t the only way - and in my opinion that means holding bad owners accountable too.

Not everyone will agree but... Social media needs to shut down for a year or two so people can go back to being themselves again… 🙌
