Have made my feelings clear on his character and his backing of Greenwood, I'm not a fan of it. I'm not sure it's right to make this big a decision that divides the fanbase at such a crucial point and I think it's a statement of panic rather than ambition that some people are dressing it up as. I think De Zerbi is a good manager that I definitely think could keep us in the Premier League. There is a lot to like about his football principles and it'll be interesting to see how quickly he implements them and if he keeps us up, how far that will take us next season. I'm not a fan of the appointment, I know there are no morals in Football really when you look across the spectrum and I wouldn't hold it against anyone for saying "look, it's certainly not ideal when you look at his past, but I'm a Spurs fan and nothing's going to change, I'll always support the team". I'm 100% in that camp, we can't change this, I'll still be backing the team and I hope this works out, but I really wish people would stop attacking others for really not wanting him. The Greenwood situation is a perfectly justifiable reason for not wanting De Zerbi at the club. Stop calling people "woke" for upholding their moral integrity despite the dire situation that we're in. It's totally up to you how you feel about this appointment, it's okay to feel fine with it, it's okay to be totally against it and it's okay to be somewhere in the middle, but the one thing we don't need at the moment is more division and some of the stuff I've seen directed at fans on here that have concerns about De Zerbi is just grim. Will just be talking about De Zerbi's football going forward now unless anything else comes up, have made my feelings clear on it. Anyway, 12 days til Sunderland and hopefully we can push on now.

If Spurs really do go for De Zerbi, you have to wonder what exactly they think they’re buying. His entire system is built on controlled chaos from the back. The keeper isn’t just a shot stopper. He’s the first playmaker. Everything flows through him. Short passes under pressure, inviting the press, manipulating space, effectively acting as a spare centre back as the shape unfolds. That works when you’ve got the right profile. Applying that to Vicario feels… optimistic at best. If De Zerbi manages to turn Vicario into a calm, press resistant, ball playing orchestrator who dictates build up under pressure, then honestly we’re no longer talking about good coaching. We’re talking about one of the greatest acts of transformation football has ever seen.

Can’t wait for Spurs to announce De Zerbi. Top coach. He’s made one comment about Greenwood and the woke brigade are taking the high ground. Greenwood’s wife forgave him, had another child and live happily. Yet we can’t accept a manager who believes greenwood has grown from this.

@scoutbreezer I’d happily have greenwood at spurs. Terrific player who seems to have grown as a person and shown remorse. The fact his wife is still with him, they have a child together & her family stand by him should be enough to understand that.
