Great discussion with @SenatorRobBlack on this transformative economic opportunity. To realize $25 B annually we need to create the investment environment for ingredient manufacturing and food processing. This needs to be a priority sector for provinces & the federal government
Senator Rob Black, P. Ag. (Hon)@SenatorRobBlack

It was good to meet with @proteinindcan yesterday to discuss their recently released plan, The Road To $25 Billion. #AgricultureMatters #CdnAg @SenateCA

Thanks @R_Boissonnault for the opportunity to discuss continued investment in #cdnag that enables food security, sustainable innovation, and Canadian competitiveness. @CortevaCA #KeepGrowing

Canada has the resources, the people, and the know how to feed the world. On Canada’s Agriculture Day, we talked with stakeholders about how #budget2023 can support a stronger #CdnAg sector while increasing sustainability and domestic food security.

This is a great program from @ISED_CA aka the GoC. - Farmers benefit by growing crops as high value protein ingredients vs. exportable commodities - More processing capacity creates more jobs & $ in local communities 🇨🇦 ag community needs to embrace the work by @proteinindcan
ISED@ISED_CA

#DYK that the #GoC is investing in Canada’s #plantbased food sector? @proteinindcan is helping to increase the options available on grocery store shelves, while improving the health of our environment. Learn more: bit.ly/3dtVIAY

Thank you to @proteinindcan for the opportunity to bring greetings at their AGM today. It is inspiring to see PIC’s focus to advance sustainable protein, which aligns with Manitoba’s Protein Advantage Strategy. @MBGovAg

50’years supporting Canadian wheat growers!! More people need to be aware of the influence and technical support provided by Cereals Canada and legacy organizations!
Cereals Canada@Cereals_Canada

It was a pleasure to have the Honourable @mclaudebibeau with us here today to celebrate our 50th anniversary with a symbolic bread-slicing in our pilot bakery. Some organizations cut ribbons to celebrate. Here at Cereals Canada, we slice bread. 🍞🎉

@stuartsmyth66 We need to quit holding Canadian ag exports hostage to the EU and their non science based policies. If they need/want our safe and abundant wheat, oilseeds and pulses, they need to accept our regulatory approved product. It’s time to take a firm position.

EU F2F policy estimated to decrease yields: wheat 19MMT, corn 9MMT, other grains 12MMT & oilseed 5MMT. EU rejection of modern technology increases land use pressure on biodiverse regions. Irresponsible policy as it will drive up commodity & food prices. producer.com/markets/eu-far…
