My friend and close musician colleague Doug passed away suddenly this morning. I am stunned and heartbroken. I learned so much from Doug and will always treasure our friendship, his musicianship and all the love he gave to me and Kelsey. RIP Doug.
Action Jackson and the Magical Disappearing Sock (recorded nearly 6 years ago) is finally on youtube! It's a very special piece to me and if you took the time to watch it I would sincerely appreciate it. The band plays great!

About once a year or so I do a deep, deep dive of listening nonstop to one of the great composers of the past 400 years, and every time I come away from it more in awe of God’s endless creativity and ability to inspire humanity toward transcendent expression.
