These are tough days for families with senior athletes. For all but one team per division - it’s going to end with a loss When that day came for us - we had a lot of things going on - my wife was very sick, we had been told that Duke could do nothing else for her three days earlier - my son plays this game with a higher passion than most. We knew how much he loved his team, his coaches and his school. We were hurting for so many reasons. Nothing in life was normal for us - my son fought like hell and had three hits, yet we were shutout Someone happened to take this photo about thirty minutes after the game and I treasure it so much I know it hurts to play that last high school game - if you feel like crying- it’s ok. 🚨Playing High School Baseball Isn’t Important Anymore!!!🚨 That’s what a lot of people are saying. The thought is, you go to play summer ball- it’s where the best competition is. You go to college camps- it’s where you will be seen. You go to showcases to document your numbers. So high school baseball isn’t important… That’s what THEY SAY… 🤔🤔What do you say??🤔🤔 I say- I wouldn’t skip it for the world. I’m in my junior year. I have a group of guys that I see every day in school, at practice and outside of baseball that are my brothers. I have coaches who I’ve built a relationship over the past years who care about building better ball players and building better men. So ya….
