@ChristinaTasty Don't be ridiculous. You can get two powerful window units at Costco for $400 which can easily cool 2000sqft.

I think we need to build this. I designed this below image, representing Lewis and Clark on the Mississippi in the style of Argonath. At $1 Billion or more, I think it can be done.

This might sound insane, but in Japan… You buy a house with your own money, and still keep paying taxes on it until you die. When you buy it, they tax you. While you live in it, they tax you. When you sell it, they tax you. And after you die, your kids can get hit with inheritance tax too. Like… bro. You spent your whole life paying for that house. And somehow, the government still acts like it’s on a subscription plan. Is it really “your home” at that point?

A gang targeted, lured and gang raped two young girls at knifepoint while they filmed it and laughed while they took turns. One of the girls said "All I want to do is die, I no longer have fear for when that comes" All of them spared a prison sentence today! Wtf is going on?

In just the first five months of 2026, nine major shrines and temples have burned across Japan. ・January 15: Suga Shrine, Kitakyushu, Fukuoka ・February 7: Horenji, Matsuyama, Ehime ・February 13: Hottoji, Kuma Highland, Ehime — 1 person died ・February 20: Shorinji, Shimonoseki, Yamaguchi — 5 people died ・April 24: Renshoji, Toyama City, Toyama ・April 27: Uruwashitsune Shrine, Nabari, Mie ・May 6: Furumachi Atago Shrine, Niigata City, Niigata ・May 16: Daishoji, Takaoka, Toyama ・May 20: Reikaido at Itsukushima Shrine, Hatsukaichi, Hiroshima (World Heritage site) These are not ordinary fires. Many of these sacred places had stood for hundreds — some over a thousand — years. I’m not a politician. I’m not an activist. I’m just an ordinary Japanese who loves this country. Every time I see another irreplaceable piece of our history and culture go up in flames, I feel a quiet fear. Japan was supposed to be the one place where this kind of thing almost never happened. When did our temples and shrines start burning one after another?

This is the world we now live in. On a train platform in Italy the police (with army back up) are checking the IDs and train tickets of all single men who look a certain way. They don’t ask the men who are blonde or the couples or the women. I suspect the terror threat is considered high right now, after the “mentally unsound” individual decided to drive his car at a bunch of people in Moderna because he feels Italians are unwelcoming to him and his ilk. Seems that Italians are expecting more “mentally unsound” behaviour from the usual suspects.

For 20 years, a $6 knob that takes one hour to 3D print has been grounding Black Hawk helicopters four times a month, and the contractor responsible won't sell us the part or the IP rights to fix it ourselves. So instead, American taxpayers have been paying $40,000 every single time to replace the entire system, multiplied by four times a month, for two decades. That is NOT a procurement problem, that is a shakedown, and it is exactly why right to repair has to be in this year's NDAA.

“Bioethicists” are some of the most blatantly evil people alive on earth today.
TFTC@TFTC21

A peer-reviewed paper published last year in the journal Bioethics by two professors at Western Michigan University School of Medicine argues that it is "morally obligatory" to genetically engineer ticks to spread alpha-gal syndrome, a permanent condition that makes you violently allergic to red meat. The paper is called "Beneficial Bloodsucking." Their argument: if eating meat is morally wrong, then preventing the spread of a disease that forces people to stop eating meat is also morally wrong. Scientists should gene-edit lone star ticks to enhance their ability to carry alpha-gal syndrome and expand their range into urban environments to infect more people. They call this a "moral bioenhancer." They frame releasing genetically modified disease-carrying ticks as a "vaccination" that only "infringes" on your bodily autonomy rather than "violating" it. The distinction, apparently, is that a tick bit you instead of a government official holding you down. Alpha-gal syndrome is not mild. The CDC estimates up to 450,000 Americans are already affected. Cases have surged 100-fold in the last decade. Symptoms include anaphylaxis. There is no cure. Alpha-gal cases are exploding across the United States. The lone star tick's range is expanding far beyond its historical territory. And two academics at a medical school published a paper arguing this is a good thing that should be accelerated. At what point do we stop treating papers like this as fringe academic exercises and start asking whether anyone is already acting on them?
