Support for Rovers fan Chris Andrews. Shamrock Rovers Football Club has learned that Rovers supporter Chris Andrews has been detained while taking part in a humanitarian mission, delivering food and aid to Gaza. Chris has previously worked alongside the club in supporting the Gaza Kids to Tallaght initiative, which brought young footballers from Gaza to Ireland in 2017 and 2018. During those visits, Shamrock Rovers welcomed the children to Tallaght Stadium, where they were treated as guests, meeting players and fans, and received Rovers attire as a gesture of welcome and support. We call for his safe return.
