This alarming trend is apparent in the increasing number of inattentive and/or distracted drivers striking marked police vehicles at very high speeds, which is greatly concerning and unacceptable. I’m thankful for the first-class medical care our Trooper is receiving; she remains in good spirits. I was able to visit with her and her Troop A Teammates this evening. We wish her a swift recovery. As expected, our professional State Trooper was following her training and experience in the proper use of all available emergency equipment, lighting, and thankfully, wearing her seatbelt while sitting in her parked, marked police vehicle. This is a call to action: MOVE OVER, SLOW DOWN, PHONES DOWN, ELIMINATE DISTRACTIONS, BUCKLE UP, PAY ATTENTION. We are so lucky this Trooper was not more seriously injured or worse. I’m profoundly thankful tonight.

Yesterday I was driving east on I-80 and about a mile down the road a tow truck was trying to hook up a car, there was one semi that couldn't move over because a car just wouldn't make room.. we got to share the road to make it safe for everyone people
