Established by G7 leaders in December 2022, we coordinate support for Ukraine's immediate financing and future economic recovery and reconstruction needs.

Ukraine has secured $690m in grants from Japan ($544m) and Canada ($146m) under the @G7 $50b ERA initiative, channelled via the @worldbankgroup’s PEACE project. The funding will help financing social payments and assistance, sustaining macro-financial stability. Grateful to the partners for the coordinated efforts.

A strong Ukraine is our first line of defence. This is why we must step up our military support. Today we are disbursing €4 billion for Ukraine. And as agreed with them, half will be dedicated to drones.

Ukraine has received €170m from the @COEbanknews to support Ukrainians. €70m – for housing compensation (#HOME project), €100M – for IDP needs. This will provide around 1,500 more housing certificates for thousands of displaced people. Vital support for🇺🇦 citizens

We’ve signed a €300m EU-backed loan with @NaftogazUkraine to strengthen Ukraine’s energy security & replenish long-term gas reserves ahead of winter. It supports renewables and decarbonisation, helping build a cleaner, more resilient energy future. ➡️ go.eib.org/NaftogazUA

We're boosting Ukraine’s energy security with a landmark €500m loan to @NaftogazUkraine, backed by @eu_enlargement_ @EUDelegationUA guarantee. It will help Naftogaz buy gas on 🇪🇺 markets so that Ukrainians have enough energy + heating this winter. ebrd.com/home/news-and-…

France continues to step up—advancing both immediate military support and long-term economic cooperation with Ukraine. Today in Kyiv, I held a working meeting with Jean-Noël Barrot, Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs of France. We discussed military assistance, joint weapons production, economic recovery, sanctions policy, and long-term cooperation. France will allocate an additional €200 million to support Ukraine’s critical infrastructure and economy starting in 2026. Demand for the previous program exceeded its budget threefold—evidence of strong interest in joint projects from both Ukrainian and French businesses. Two declarations were signed: 1. On establishing the new €200 million fund. 2. On preparing an intergovernmental agreement for strategic cooperation in defense, energy, digitalization, and critical minerals. We also explored financing for Ukraine’s drone program in 2025 and ways to accelerate procurement. France presented ideas for a more flexible, goal-oriented sanctions framework. I thank France for its initiative, consistency, and real engagement in Ukraine’s fight—and future.
