@ElissaSlotkin I want my government out of my life. So small that it can't effect me, can't waste my confiscated taxes on social problems it has no constitutional authority to be involved in. I want the rule of law enforced and the border secure. Democrats want the exact opposite.

@beyond_process @matthewmaddock If they are truly asylum seekers then they should seek asylum in the first country they come into. Most asylum seekers are actually people seeking better economic conditions and not escaping their government persecution. Either way, they are breaking the law crossing illegally.

You can claim exemptions through asylum. I know that breaks your brain to have to encounter. 90% of the time a right-winger complains about undocumented immigrants, they're talking about asylum seekers.

@matthewmaddock Speeding is a civil infraction like crossing the border without documents, only it's much more likely to end up in somebody getting killed or harmed.
Speed cameras reduce speeding while saving the lives of police officers who also frequently get harmed by cars.
