I hate having a president who celebrates when people die. Basic respect and human decency are still worth caring about, even if a large number of people have decided that’s lame and old-fashioned. I hope we recover that before long.

Not to draw out the David French discourse any further, but I wondered whether I was being unfair, so I thought to scroll his feed.
What's noticeable is not what he highlights—which I often agree with—but what he consciously avoids.

I realized that after you explain to people how French went full Left, they stop responding to you. Screeching “French is not ‘left’” is one thing. But dealing with facts is another. And people don’t deal with facts.
