Well nevermind.
We ALSO need DC to win.
If DC loses, then even if we win & LOU loses, there’d be a three-way tie for two spots.
DC & Louisville would get in over Birmingham on SoV.
So it’s actually:
✅ DC beats Orlando
✅ BIRMINGHAM beats Houston
✅ COLUMBUS beats Louisville
State of the Stallions 🏆🏆🏆@SOTStallions
Well it all comes down to Week 10. ✅ Stallions win ✅ Louisville loss
English

@Marksmen16 Yes, but that doesn't fit my narrative that B1G country > SEC country (though, it absolutely is).
Moving the season up would severely harm the Columbus market, and it would kill the Michigan market if Repole ever wanted to bring the Panthers back.
English

@UFLShadow I think the lesson here is that they need to start earlier. Start at the end of February instead at the end of March. That way you get less games starting closer to Summer, where the south starts to get unbearably hot.
English

My takeaway? Get the #UFL out of the South. Texas and Alabama clearly don't love football as much as the Midwest.
I guess it really doesn't mean more, does it? 🤷♂️
Panthers Shadow@UFLShadow
Through 8 weeks, the #UFL is averaging 10.5k/gm across all 8 teams. Excluding STL, it's 8.5k/gm. Excluding STL and HOU, it's 9.3k/gm. It's possible that smaller stadiums and higher viewership numbers makes these numbers tolerable, but that's TBD.
English

@imjeremytho I just like pointing out that B1G country > SEC country is all.
English

@UFLShadow This man still hasn’t recovered from losing the Michigan panthers 🤣
English

@SOTStallions Granted, 5500 in a 20k stadium (27.5% filled) looks better than 5700 in a 40k stadium (14.4% filled) for Houston. 🤷♂️
English

@UFLShadow I thought they brought him in to fix attendance, and yet it’s only getting worse 🤔
English

Last season, the Stallions never had fewer than 9k in attendance outside of the infamous Mother’s Day game.
The year prior, they never had fewer than 7k.
Now they have had back-to-back games with under 5k.
Think it’s a Birmingham problem? Think again.
The Battlehawks never had a game below 31k in 2024 or 26k in 2025.
This year? Their last three games have all been below 22k, with one as low as 18.5k.
What about DC? They never had a game below 12k heading into this year.
Their last three games have all been below 8k.
But yeah, @RepoleStable, keep chirping at Stallions fans. That’ll certainly fix a league-wide problem 🤡
Repole Stable@RepoleStable
Birmingham fans must’ve thought today’s game was an away game. 🤦♂️😂
English

@Call55MJ No, I get it. You thought you were dunking on me because Repole killed the Panthers. Good one. 👍
English

@UFLShadow Im actually very good at geography. You’re obviously bad at comprehension.
English

@USFLExpert That's a lot of words just to say B1G country > SEC country.
English

@UFLShadow Or, much more likely? The league has failed to connect with local markets. When you have attendance decline across every single returning market, it's not a problem with the market, it's either the product or the people pushing the product. I think it's the latter
English

@Call55MJ I figured you were bad at geography, but I had hoped you knew that the North consists of more than just Michigan.
English

@UFLShadow Your team is literally gone, the opposite of “living long”.🤨
English

@UFLShadow You don’t need to move all the Texas teams out, just put 1 in the San Antonio-Austin area. & eliminating the South altogether is just retarded northern rage-baiting.
English

@SOTStallions With the 18k attendance this year, Ponies are still averaging 200 more tickets per game over 2025.
Excluding the highest attended game for each of the last two seasons, here's Birmingham's attendance averages.
2025: 8406
2026: 5883
Obviously, one home game to go this year.
English

@AbdulMemonFoot Yeah, I think this trend flips if the season is moved up 4 weeks or more.
English

If the league wants to keep the schedule the way it is, then yes it should all be northern teams as the weather is more suitable for attendance
The problem is that Repole is going to move the schedule up to early/mid February so it has to be southern teams moving forward

English

@UFLPuritan I'm mostly just trying to bait on this, but I do think there's some validity to the idea. If for no other reason than the South gets too damn hot during the day.
English

@UFLShadow It is strange. The UFL/XFL's best markets have been STL, DC, Louisville, Columbus, Michigan, and even Seattle. There's a clearly an arguement to be made that Spring Football is a more northern fixture despite leagues like the AAF and pre-Repole UFL prioritizing the south.
English

@thatVulcan17 I'm asking this genuinely, but why should Birmingham get that special treatment? Especially as you're not the crowned jewel of the league.
I get making certain considerations to be in the market, but this sounds like the UFL has to treat the BHM market with kids gloves.
English

@UFLShadow Take out Mothers weekend and another Sunday early afternoon game and we are averaging over 13000. We had told them no more Sunday day games and no more mothers weekend. Church doesn’t start until 11 AM on Sundays. 84.4% of the state attends church. The game was at noon on Sunday.
English

@profbtherapy It's entirely possible that smaller venues saves the league A LOT of money, and ~10k attendance average is enough. I'd wager that's not the case, but I don't have access to their books.
I just find it hard to believe in Repole's vision with results like this.
English

@UFLShadow It would be nice to know what the floor is for this company. So far in previous years of spring ball, we had similar TV numbers, way higher attendance and STILL had to Merge, Relocate & blow rosters up.

English

This now drops Birmingham's average to well below 10k for the season with 1 home game remaining. The #UFL now only has 3 teams averaging 10k+ per game: STL (22.9k), Louisville (11.3k), and Columbus (10.6k).
