This year's medicine laureate Victor Ambros can’t remember a time when he wasn't interested in science. As a child, he was an amateur astronomer and at the age of 16 he got a scientific result published after observing a total solar eclipse. For the first time, he felt like a real scientist! Hear him speak more about his scientific career in his Nobel Prize lecture: youtube.com/watch?v=VQ9NZb…

A day in the life of a newly awarded Nobel Prize laureate. Victor Ambros had a momentous time at work following the announcement of his 2024 Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine. He discussed his perspectives on the future of research and scientific discoveries with colleagues and was pleasantly surprised to see fellow medicine laureate, Craig Mello, at @umasschan's press conference. Mello received the prize in 2006. #Nobel Prize
