@dansputman @kylejluebke @JoeBrunoWSOC9 Wegman’s has a smaller urban format w/appropriately smaller parking deck at 2 spots in DC area. Not as many choices; still Wegman’s. But yeah, in Charlotte it won’t go over without many acres of open-air parking because Southern suburbanites hate “dark, scary” structured parking.

@ncskygirl @CLTdevelopment Well, This type of screening above an activated ground floor with a minimum height is what’s required out of TOD. Some screens are certainly better than others. I wonder, though, if you’re really getting eyes on the street when floors 2-9 are reserved for parking and not resi.

Street, aka what pedestrians see, is just as important as the view from half mile away. Maybe @CLTdevelopment can make sure this type of blah stops.

Hey @CLTgov @CharlotteDOT -- The ped crossing at Lattimore / Kenilworth in @DilworthDCA has been flashing non-stop for a few days now. Can we get this fixed? Drivers are already ignoring it and continuing to drive (speed) through the crossing

Dilworth Home Tour started, in part, as a way for neighbors to help raise money to make Dilworth a more walkable, livable neighborhood after urban renewal. Almost 50 years later, it’s amazing to see so many people walk, bike and ride to this years Home Tour! @DilworthDCA
