Behind every result is a story of people working for a better Libya. The United Nations in Libya has launched its 2025 Annual Results Report, reflecting a year of partnership with Libyan institutions, municipalities, civil society, youth, women, persons with disabilities and communities across the country, as well as international partners who supported the UN programmes. The report highlights how collective action can make a difference in people’s lives — from improving services and expanding opportunities, to supporting resilience, inclusion and peace. In the coming days, we will share some of the stories behind the report: stories of people, communities and local partners showing what progress looks like in people’s daily lives. It’s been #3YearsTooLong. A brutal civil war that’s left communities across #Sudan utterly devastated.   Civilians are still being killed. The healthcare system has largely collapsed. Extreme poverty is rapidly increasing. And we’re witnessing the world's largest displacement and hunger crisis, with +24 million people facing acute food insecurity. Enough. Let’s not allow this to be an abandoned crisis. The international community must urgently step up support – to help find the solutions needed to end this conflict, protect civilians, and avert a further humanitarian catastrophe. @UN_Sudan

I met with #Madagascar's Prime Minister, Mamitiana Rajaonarison. We have a shared recognition of our productive partnership and the results achieved in health and agriculture. We both look forward to deepening the collaboration: expanding access to energy, supporting reconstruction after Cyclone Gezani, and advancing the country's sustainable development priorities.
