The University of Nairobi, Faculty of Law @UoNLawFaculty today convened judiciary representatives, legal practitioners, academia, regulators, students, and development partners for a high-level Curriculum Validation Workshop aimed at reshaping the future of legal education. A key highlight from the workshop was the call by Ag. Deputy Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs Prof. Ayub Gitau for legal education to prioritize access to justice, ethical leadership, community-oriented lawyering, and the responsible use of technology to serve marginalized and underserved communities. The revised LL.B curriculum embraces transdisciplinarity, Africanization, decolonization, competency-based legal education, climate justice, and emerging fields such as AI law, cybersecurity, fintech regulation, and digital governance to prepare future-ready lawyers for the realities of the 21st century. #LegalEducation #CurriculumReform #Justice #Innovation @FAOKenya @EUinKenya @CLE_Kenya #weareUoN @ProfOdote @Kibugy
