The YMCA has spent more than a year dodging questions, deleting webpages, and leaving the same policies in place. It’s time for YMCA leadership to answer for policies that put girls’ privacy and safety at risk.

Parents have a fundamental right to know what their children are being taught in school. If families have to turn to the courts for transparency, something is deeply wrong. Schools should work with parents, not against them.
