Is it a sign of strength or weakness that a weight class got completely overrun by 4 freshmen? Normally, I’d say it’s weakness. For example, there’s no way I can imagine 4 freshmen coming in and all 4 being better than Mitch/Mikey, or Brock/Jesse. 1 freshman? Sure. 2? Maybe. But 4? I’m kind of torn. 133 is the most exciting weight, but I’m not convinced it was the best when 4 freshmen can just come in and take over. With that said, those 4 guys are crazy talented no matter how you spin it.

This might be an unpopular opinion but... The post match responses from wrestlers are so much better than just about any other sport i can think of. Thoughtful, articulate, and introspective. To be sure, not everything is perfect. But they make me proud to be in this sport. Would take them 10 out 10 times over the inane jibberish you see elsewhere.

Fitzpatrick snitched on his playing partner for slow play and is rightly being applauded. Let’s take this a step further. Taking 3 minutes to take a normal approach shot isn’t just slow. It’s cheating. It should be an immediate penalty. You are NOT supposed to be able to account for all variables. You are NOT supposed to be able to make infinite calculations or wait for the perfect amount of wind. You are NOT supposed to be able to wait until you are 100% comfortable in the shot. What Fitz did is awesome, but it should be normal. They don’t need to race, but at some point they need to be able to hit a golf shot in a reasonable amount of time. That should be a base requirement for being a golfer at any level, much less a pro.

My partner and I just got a rescue cat, and I can honestly say it's the most life-affirming thing I've ever done. In just a few days, this little angel has gone from timid and hiding under the bed, to boldly sitting at the top of the stairs where she can survey all, or cuddling us like we've known each other a decade. We know she's had some abuse. With us she'll have nothing but patience, love and treats for as long as she lives.
