The Lakers missing their best player, are the only 50+ win team the Thunder have faced in the playoffs over the last 2 seasons. Next round they will be tested for the first time in basically two years. Thunder fans are about to have a serious wake up call.

@iztok_franko When nearly every coach is calling it out, and tons of players, and the league still ignores it, it makes fans like me not want to watch anymore. Because the league is losing is credibility more and more, and it makes it feel fixed against anyone playing vs OKC.

@CC4MVP22 I was just telling someone anyone responding to the officiating issue (which literally everyone is talking about) by lazily pointing at the total fouls and total free throws are either not watching the games, don't know anything about basketball or some combination of the two.

The Lakers are not losing to the Thunder because of officiating but the officiating has been so egregiously bad that it's the story. The highlight reel of bad calls, missed calls and foul-baiting is just a bad look for the league. Interested to see how Game 3 is called in L.A.

Jokic is the most important member of the Nuggets. Wemby is the most important member of the Spurs. Luka is the most important member of the Lakers. Presti is the most important member of the Thunder. Last night was more proof I got my MVP vote correct, by not voting SGA.

@DamienPetersNBA The Lakers are playing high intensity defense to match OKC but unfortunately the refs don't want to call it both ways. Our only hope is for Laravia to become useful by taking out SGA or Chet.

The Lakers are going to lose this series, but are they providing a blueprint that teams can explore when guarding Shai Gilgeous-Alexander? Throwing multiple bodies at Shai sounds like murder for a team that lacks defensive talent, but it could be a viable option for a high-caliber athletic defensive unit who can recover and rotate well. More teams might live with seeing if the others can beat them.
