Rise and shine to the drug trafficking organization that was disrupted early this morning in Deltona. Detectives recovered 3 kilos cocaine, 12 pounds methamphetamine, 5 pounds MDMA powder, more than 100,000 pills of various types, 12 pounds psilocybin mushrooms and a lot more. This is a continuing, joint investigation involving VSO, VBI, the U.S. Postal Inspection Service, DEA, ATF and the Broward Sheriff's Office. Chief Deputy Brian Henderson is your guide for this one 👍

Today we remember and honor a hero. On March 16, Deputy Dom Calata tragically passed away after being shot during a SWAT operation. He served with courage and dedication, putting the safety of others before his own. Your watch is over. Rest easy.

The FBI San Juan held its first Senior Leaders multi-agency collaboration Meet & Greet this past Friday and we want to thank our partners for the response. With representation of over 20 federal agencies, the event was a resounding success, and we look forward to future iterations of this event. Partner integration and collaboration is key to further the FBI mission, this is how we rebuild public trust, by coming together to protect the people and uphold the constitution. During the event, participants held a moment of silence and coin tribute to our colleague from the United Stated Postal Inspection Service Miguel Angel "Mickey" Rivera-Cuadrado - who will forever be remembered.

Miami man pleads guilty to importing synthetic cathinones (“bath salts” / “flakka”) from China for distribution in South Florida. The investigation involved HSI Miami, HSI Guangzhou, USPIS, and local partners. Authorities overseas seized ~700 kilograms of the drug believed destined for the United States. Case prosecuted by the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of Florida as part of the Homeland Security Task Force initiative targeting transnational criminal organizations.
