@mark_rewalkme @Cubs Can’t do that until you know who we can get to replace them, what money we can spend, what people can be signed for. But having all the same type of hitter minus Nico,who is also on a slump, all or nothing and very little clutch. And maybe a pitcher with velocity?

@Sonny777992 @Cubs Can’t call the roster solid if they need to be motivated by a manager. They are professionals and paid a lot to figure it out. And it was the same last year with most of these guys. They all just aren’t good enough hitters. And almost none of them are clutch.

@USWNTHali170 @Cubs I think the roster is solid; but the coach is beyond awful…he can’t motivate the players or the coaching staff, no ability to make adjustments, doesn’t have good reads on the game, players are good but unprepared….as far as coaching goes the gentleman has no positive qualities

@scotthatch22 Hard to be positive and good when your leader and “best hitters” in the 4-5 spot suck the life out of the team and your manager loves to watch it happen again and again.

Nico hitting .184 over the last 10 games. Just brutal. Doesn't look anything like himself up there. Not ideal from your leadoff hitter. Not that it matters because Happ and Suzuki won't score him if he gets on base anyway. #Cubs

@SamOlbur I mean when this entire team is incompetent with RiSP… yeah we ain’t winning a lot. And it sucks bc Nico is my favorite and he’s almost as worthless as Happ and Seiya recently.
