@dyyeen1 @j4yisnotreal Not the same thing at all, because God just created Muhammad, God was not DIRECTLY RESPONSIBLE for Muhammad “creating Islam”, Muhammad did that with his own free will after a demonic interaction

@UTDstreak @j4yisnotreal Because if you can't prove that and you still use the argument then I could easily turn the argument on you and ask why did yahweh create Muhammad ﷺ who would "create Islam" that would deceive billions of people, I can't believe you're still not getting it

@dyyeen1 @j4yisnotreal You know what, let me let you work it out. What possible start would today’s Christianity have without the Crucifixion?

@UTDstreak @j4yisnotreal Because you're claiming that crucifix=xtianity, same way the only logical conclusion of 1+1 is 2, if you can't prove that the xtianity is the necessary conclusion of the crucifix you can't say that Allah making it appear to have happened led to xtianity, its simple

@dyyeen1 @j4yisnotreal Are you slow? Genuinely. If the Crucifixion led to Christianity, and Allah deceived everyone into believing Christ was crucified, then Allah is responsible for Christianity. Idk why you’re talking about “only logical conclusion” as if that has any impact at all on this discussion

@UTDstreak @j4yisnotreal Yea sure thats the point of christianity, that god killed himself nice, now tell me how christianity is the only logical conclusion from the crucifixion, because your claim is that Allah making it appear as if Jesus ﷺ was crucified created christianity

@dyyeen1 @j4yisnotreal Literally the entire point of Christianity is that God took on human flesh and died on the Cross as a sacrifice for our sins… I’m really struggling to understand how you think there’s any other reason Christianity even exists at all.

@UTDstreak @j4yisnotreal No I said paul is one of the main elements not all of it, you're proposing that the crucifix plays a role thats fine it still doesn't mean that crucifix=christianity you still haven't justified that logical leap, as long as there are alternative explanations you can't say that

@dyyeen1 @j4yisnotreal No, you said Christianity is a result of St Paul’s preaching, rather than the Crucifixion. I was telling you how a substantial part of Christianity was separate from Paul, and that the Crucifixion and Resurrection was the reason for believing in the divinity of Jesus

@UTDstreak @j4yisnotreal I still haven't heard the argument for how the crucifix justifies your theology, also I never said Paul wrote half of the bible I think you're arguing with the holy spirit in your head

@dyyeen1 @j4yisnotreal It’s the truth though, have you never wondered why forgeries like the Gospel of Thomas provide such a Quranic view of Jesus despite predating Islam? The Qur’an legit directly took stories from it like Jesus breathing life into clay birds.

@dyyeen1 @j4yisnotreal Idk what muslim sources taught what you said, but they lied to you. St Paul is not solely responsible for Christianity. Half of the NT was not written by him, and our accounts of the Crucifixion don’t even come from him at all. So yes, Crucifixion > Christianity

@dyyeen1 @j4yisnotreal Calling Christianity the result of paganism is ironic considering Islam is almost an exact copy and paste of gnostic pagan beliefs and Christian forgeries floating around the 7th century Arabian peninsula. But that’s not even the main issue with what you said. (1/2)

@dyyeen1 @j4yisnotreal Well, Allah made it seem as though Jesus was crucified even though He apparently wasn’t, which means Allah is responsible for the most followed “false” religion of all time. Allah’s actions sent the most ppl ever to hell in that case, which doesn’t sound omnibenevolent does it?

@j4yisnotreal You got an example of a paradox? Also why would faults in ones beliefs loose them the rights to talk about others beliefs? Like for example gay men have loose assholes cuz they keep taking it from the back and need diapers but that doesn't mean they can't talk badly abt judaism

@CallumInLothian @BGrockihi2 A crucifix is a Cross with a depiction of Christ on it, otherwise it’s just a Cross. But using a Cross is a symbol for general Christianity and also reminds us of the Resurrection since the Cross is the symbol of Christ conquering death

@Toluwaniatiti @DrShayPhD You’ve just watched a video of your brothers and sisters in Christ who were previously astray accept Jesus as Lord and Saviour and be baptised as Christians on the path to Salvation, and your first instinct isn’t happiness because of a petty, illogical sense of superiority

@_OKJ__ Don’t talk for the sake of talking. You have no idea how Christianity spread, don’t just say it was colonialism to make yourself look like a free thinking and intelligent. You just look dumb. Christianity has been in Africa longer than the empires which colonised had existed.

It’s even more damning that after Jesus Christ allegedly resurrected, he hung around for 40days… but all of his appearances were only within Jerusalem and Galilee.… imagine the creator of the whole universe claiming to die for the whole world.. hung around for 40 days after resurrection but only appear within a very tiny geographical location..he was even eating bread and fish with his disciples 😅 this was the perfect moment to appear to cultures all over the world and introduce himself and what he’s all about…African societies ,Australian aboriginals, south and north American cultures etc So very valid tweets like the one I’m quoting wouldn’t exist… and no one would have excuses. But nah .. he’d rather eat fish and bread in Galilee .. while Christianity spread into the Americas and Africa through colonialism, slavery ,wars and death. Easy to call bullshit on the whole story.

@sunstar749 @Burgess7281975 Because Mary was still saved by Christ’s death on the Cross. Only that she was saved retroactively. Mary’s sinlessness was a result of Christ’s death, had He not died, she wouldn’t have been sinless. Her salvation was just unique in that it was applied at her conception.

“I should not believe the gospel except as moved by the authority of the Catholic Church.” Saint Augustine The Gospel of Luke was written in Greek and originally refers to the Holy Mother of God as “Kecharitomene” which is a singularly exalted title whose rough translation corresponds to: “one who has been and still is the object of divine benevolence, one who has been favored and continues to be favored by God, one who has been granted supernatural grace and remains in this state.” In other words “Full of Grace” does not even entirely capture what Mary is. As Saint Maximilian Kolbe notes: "Human words cannot describe who the one is, who became the true Mother of God. Of course taken by herself, [the Immaculata] is merely a creature. Yet, she was raised up so high by God that one would need to understand who God is to comprehend who the Mother of God is." (KW 1292) In Luke 1:28, the word that Saint Gabriel the Archangel uses is kecharitomene. So it’s not literally “full of grace,” but its root word is the Greek verb “to give grace” (charitoo). The word is the past perfect tense, meaning that the action of giving grace has already occurred. It was not something that was about to happen to her but something that has already been accomplished. The word was also used as a title. The angel did not say, “Hail Mary, you are kecharitomene” but rather, “Hail kecharitomene.” Therefore the word is not simply an action but an identity. catholic.com/qa/full-of-gra…

@Burgess7281975 I don't trust the argument that people before me believed a thing. I mean they believed the earth was flat and that slavery was acceptable. That doesn't mean it's true or right. Show me the verse in scripture.

@UTDstreak @Burgess7281975 In that time period, as a Jewish woman, she would have seen it as an obligation, a duty. Why do you require her virginity? Does Mary being human make Jesus less God?
