Harris County Commissioner Adrian Garcia invited militant Imam Shaykh Waleed Basyouni to deliver the official opening prayer at the Harris County Commissioners Court last night.
Who is Shaykh Waleed Basyouni?
He is a lead imam at the troubling Clear Lake Islamic Center in Houston. This is the same imam who refuses to call Hamas a terrorist organization and says violent jihad is permissible when an Islamic state authorizes it.
When a brave Christian TEXAN woman named Mary Speck stood up and warned,
“We’re not allowing Islam to come into our nation and take over… We bow down to one King - His name is Jesus Christ,”
Commissioner Lesley Briones immediately shut her down and lectured her, saying “respect is non-negotiable for all people” while proudly claiming to speak as a Christian.
This is the SAME Commissioner Adrian Garcia who previously showed up to a CAIR-Texas Ramadan event wearing Islamic attire.
He greeted them with “Assalamu Alaikum… I’ve got your back!” and slammed Governor Abbott’s designation of CAIR - a group with Muslim Brotherhood terrorist ties - as “ridiculous stupidity.” (Thank you Governor)
He happily accepted a shiny plaque praising his “unwavering service” to them.
The question every Texan should be asking is:
What is motivating Adrian Garcia to pimp for Islam and endanger his own district like this?

This is LITERALLY why the electoral college exists.
The compact goes into effect when states cumulatively possessing a majority of the electoral votes have joined the compact. As of 4/14/26, the compact has 222 electoral votes, requiring 48 more to become effective.
The only way democrats can win is to CHEAT.
