Over decades, he has captured millions of hearts with his remarkable versatility & profound portrayals of complex characters, besides him being a great psychiatrist, playing a leadership role in mental health education, research and strong social advocacy. This happens to be the 10th year of my Chairmanship of the jury for selection of Punyabhushan awardees. I consider this as the most difficult task of my life, since Pune is such a land of amazing number of towering achievers in every walk of life. After all how can you choose only ONE of them?
